James is an established force in the world of fashion and celebrity photography: he has focused his lens on the likes of Sherri Sheppard, Angela Simmons, Lil Mama, Eve, and Yvonne Orji of Insecure. He’s shot for Billboard, Ebony, People, BET, and last year Chris Rock’s Total Blackout Tour. He’s been featured in Upscale Magazine and last year was commissioned by the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture to create a piece that marries illustration with photography, a technique he often explores in his work.
