31 DEC 2022 · Is just having a high IQ enough? Most employers may give us a "No" whenever this question is posed but are found making terrible recruitment decisions. In an interview room, what is perceived as self-confidence could be a display of arrogance if not properly diagnosed. If an employee with this vice scales through the interview process it could spell disaster for an organization. Employing people with low EQ will lead to loses. IQ can be clearly found in an applicant's portfolios. The job of the employer then becomes to spot a lack in EQ while conducting interviews.
