  • Crop Circles

12 NOV 2014 · Crop circles have been appearing in grain fields all over the earth during the last few decades. They appear suddenly, usually at night. At first they were simple circles of bent-over grain stalks. Soon a new crop of more elaborate designs evolved - geometric forms reminiscent of profound mathematical theorems. Some say that these diagrams must be created by intelligent alien beings from elsewhere. Even though these diagrams must be constructed in a very short timespan, the genuine crop circles never show any serious mistakes or blunders of execution. Investigators see this as evidence that the aliens must be very intelligent and much more advanced than we are. That's mere speculation, of course. There are those crop circles that are made by human hands - pranksters who are seeking fame or just want to create something artistic. However, all crop circles can't be explained away as being man-made. Some designs are too complicated to be made overnight by a few people stomping on wooden blocks in a wheat field. This brings up the question of who really made them? Was it really aliens? Did humans really do all this? Was it some kind of as yet unexplained natural phenomenon? I'll be taking a look at all these as I investigate the mystery of the crop circles on this episode of ParaReality Radio. By now, I was closing in on the first season of ParaReality Radio. I had really gotten into my groove by now and had established the flow of the show and myself as a serious broadcaster. This episode originally aired on Live365 on 11/27/2004.

  • Synchronicity

13 AUG 2014 · Synchronicity is a word coined by the Swiss psychologist Carl Jung to describe the temporally coincident occurrences of acausal events. It was a principle that he felt compassed his concept of the collective unconscious, in that it was descriptive of a governing dynamic that underlay the whole of human experience and history, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual. Jung believed that many experiences perceived as coincidence were due not merely to chance, but instead potentially reflected the manifestation of coincident events or circumstances consequent to this governing dynamic. Jung spoke of synchronicity as being an "acausal connecting principle" (ie. a pattern of connection that is not explained by causality). Jung believed the traditional notions of causality were incapable of explaining some of the more improbable forms of coincidence. Where it is plain, felt Jung, that no causal connection can be demonstrated between two events, but where a meaningful relationship nevertheless exists between them, a wholly different type of principle is likely to be operating. Jung called this principle "synchronicity." Implicit in Jung's concept of synchronicity is the belief in the ultimate "oneness" of the universe. As Jung expressed it, such phenomenon betrays a "peculiar interdependence of objective elements among themselves as well as with the subjective (psychic) states of the observer or observers." Jung claimed to have found evidence of this interdependence, not only in his psychiatric studies, but in his research of esoteric practices as well. On this episode of ParaReality Radio, I will take a look at Synchronicity, give some examples of it and let you make up your own mind if it's real....or coincidence? • Vampires

23 JUL 2014 · Vampires subsist by feeding on the life essence of living creatures. In folkloric tales, they often visited loved ones and caused mischief or deaths in the areas they inhabited when they were alive. They wore shrouds and were often described as bloated and of ruddy or dark countenance, markedly different from today's gaunt, pale Vampire which dates from the early 1800s. Although vampiric entities have been recorded in most cultures, the term Vampire was not popularised until the early 18th century, after an influx of Vampire superstition into Western Europe from areas where Vampire legends were frequent, such as the Balkans and Eastern Europe, although local variants were also known by different names, such as vrykolakas in Greece and strigoi in Romania. This increased level of vampire superstition in Europe led to what can only be called mass hysteria and in some cases resulted in corpses actually being staked. The Vampire, a creature once feared above all others has now become a mere shadow of its former self. It is now more a literary creation than a thing to be feared. But do not be fooled. The Vampire is nothing, if not durable. This was my very first "Halloween Special" episode. I actually received some good reviews and I'm still quite proud of all the research that I put into this episode. It originally aired on Live365 on October 22, 2004.

  • UFOs

15 APR 2014 · An unidentified flying object, or UFO, in its most general definition, is any apparent anomaly in the sky that is not identifiable as a known object or phenomenon. Such anomalies may later be identified, but depending on the evidence or lack of evidence, such an identification may not be possible generally leaving the anomaly unexplained. While stories of unexplained apparitions have been told since antiquity, the term "UFO" was officially created in 1953 by the United States Air Force to serve as a catch-all for all such reports. Studies have established that the majority of UFO observations are misidentified conventional objects or natural phenomena - most commonly aircraft, balloons, noctilucent clouds, nacreous clouds, or astronomical objects such as meteors or bright planets with a small percentage even being hoaxes. Between 5% and 20% of reported sightings are not explained, and therefore can be classified as unidentified in the strictest sense. While UFOs have been the subject of extensive investigation by various governments and although a few scientists have supported the extraterrestrial hypothesis, almost no scientific papers about UFOs have been published in peer-reviewed journals. The void left by the lack of institutional scientific study has given rise to independent researchers and groups, including the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP) in the mid-20th century and, more recently, the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) and the Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS). The term "Ufology" is used to describe the collective efforts of those who study reports and associated evidence of unidentified flying objects. Are UFOs real? The evidence certainly seems to suggest so. This episode of ParaReality Radio will take a look at the UFO phenomenon, present the evidence and let you make up your own mind. • Poltergeists

10 MAR 2014 · In folklore and parapsychology, a poltergeist is a type of ghost or other supernatural being supposedly responsible for physical disturbances such as loud noises and objects moved around or destroyed. Most accounts of poltergeists describe movement or levitation of objects, such as furniture and cutlery, or noises such as knocking on doors. Poltergeists have also been claimed to be capable of pinching, biting, hitting and tripping people. Poltergeists occupy numerous niches in cultural folklore, and have traditionally been described as troublesome spirits who haunt a particular person instead of a specific location. Such alleged poltergeist manifestations have been reported in many cultures and countries including the United States, Japan, Brazil, Australia, and most European nations, with early accounts dating back to the 1st century. Another popular theory is that poltergeist activity is caused by the angst of prepubescent teens. It is believed that they are somehow able to manifest their angst into a real, invisible force that moves objects and causes general chaos. Unable to control this force and unaware that they are causing it, they are at its mercy. This episode of ParaReality Radio originally aired on Live365 on 8/27/04.

  • Atlantis

10 FEB 2014 · Atlantis is a legendary "lost" island subcontinent often idealized as an advanced, utopian society holding wisdom that could bring world peace. The idea of Atlantis has captivated dreamers, occultists, and New Agers for generations. In the 1800s, mystic Madame Blavatsky claimed that she learned about Atlantis from Tibetan gurus; a century later, psychic Edgar Cayce claimed that Atlantis (which he described as an ancient, highly evolved civilization powered by crystals) would be discovered by 1969. In the 1980s, New Age mystic J.Z. Knight claimed that she learned about Atlantis from Ramtha, a 35,000-year-old warrior spirit who speaks through her. Thousands of books, magazines and websites are devoted to Atlantis, and it remains a popular topic to this very day. This episode of ParaReality Radio originally aired on Live365 on August 13, 2004.

  • Unidentified Submarine Objects

16 JAN 2014 · Unidentified objects are not just confined to the sky. In fact throughout the seas, oceans, as well as lakes and rivers of the world, strange metallic objects have provoked just as much curiosity. In this case they are abbreviated as USO's - Unidentified Submarine Objects. In many cases the line separating UFO's from USO's is a slender one. Not infrequently such objects will catapult themselves from the sea to hover above the waves before vanishing at amazing speed. Are these USOs from other planets or do they come from somewhere here, on Earth, underneath our oceans? What do they want? Why do they make themselves known? • Open Mic Night

9 DEC 2013 · This episode of ParaReality Radio is a very special one for me because it is the very first time that I actually interviewed someone. Actually, it wasn't one person, but two! Not only that, but this was also the first time that I had an in-studio guest as well! In the interview, I was talking with two former Marines who asked that they only be known by the names Horse and Zorro, so that their identities would remain anonymous. There was no particular theme and we were actually just talking about some paranormal experiences that they had both in their personal lives and while they were serving our country during a time of war. Horse, who actually became one of the most popular guests ever on ParaReality Raido (and subsequently made a few more appearances), revealed the contents of a secret document that came into his possession that revealed a secret so shocking that its hard to believe that it could be true! This was a very special episode of ParaReality Radio that turned out to be one of the most popular, and controversial, episodes in the show's history. It originally aired on Live365 on July 24, 2004.

  • Wicca, part 3

14 NOV 2013 · This is the final episode in a 3 part series about the religion of Wicca. This episode will focus on the magick circle and the 8 days of power. This was the first series of episodes that I did all about the same subject. I received both positive and negative comments regarding my take on the subject, however most of the comments were good and people seemed to like that I was taking the subject matter seriously and treating it with respect. This episode originally aired on Live365 on 7/9/2004.
