  • Lasagne (1 hour + 30 mins oven time) [episode with a guest!]

    12 MAY 2019 · Essentials for one lasagne + left-over ragu that can be transformed into Bolognese sauce or such: Ragu: 1 Onion 2-3 garlic cloves 1 carrot 400g vegan mince 2 x 400g cans of chopped tomatoes 250g of passata 1 vegetable stock cube Seasonings – oregano, salt, pepper, basil, chilli flakes, garlic granules, thyme… Bechamel sauce: ca. 50g (Vegan) Butter ca. 50g flour (has to be equal to the butter) (Soy) milk to thin it out Aaaand… Lasagne sheets (Vegan) shredded cheese Extras, if fancy: red wine and/or hot sauce for some extra taste Appliances needed: chopping board, knife, large pot, some kind of medium casserole dish, cutlery Ca. 60 minutes+ 20-30 minutes to the episode length of oven time!) Featuring my housemate and great friend, Vasco S. L. Brito. This is the first ever no chefs podcast recording that was good enough to post. Be kind!   • Chicken + Aubergine stew (20 + 10 minutes)

    29 APR 2019 · Essentials for one person: 1/2 Onion 1 big or 2 small garlic cloves 1/2 Aubergine 1 Chicken breast 1 Tomato (Or a can of chopped tomatoes, or more fresh tomatoes and some tomato paste - depending on how saucy you'd like it to be!) Seasonings – salt, pepper, chili flakes, paprika, oregano, basil… Extras, if fancy: spinach (not so fancy... will make it so much better, if included!), fresh basil, dry red lentils... About 30 minutes (10 minutes of just slow cooking time)

  • Carbonara (20 mins) [episode with a guest!]

    21 APR 2019 · Essentials for two people: 2 portions of pasta like spaghetti, linguine, tagliatelle... 80g per person... or more! 5 eggs... or 6. Depends on your hunger! Bacon (or if you have some - guanciale) Grated or block parmesan cheese Obviously: salt + pepper Appliances: pot, pan, large + small bowl, spatula, 2 forks (+ sieve, grater) Other fancy additions?   • Avocado Pasta Sauce (15-20 mins)

    14 APR 2019 · Essentials for one person: 1 ripe avocado Bit of lemon juice (fresh or bottled - both fine) (limes can be used as a substitute, too) A handful of cherry tomatoes or 1 ripe tomato One portion of spaghetti or tagliatelle - or any other pasta! One stem of spring onions Seasonings: salt, pepper (crushed chili flakes, if looking for some spice) Other fancy additions? I added some radishes and spinach, but you could use salad, sweetcorn, cucumber... Appliances required: Pot, spoon, fork, knife, chopping board and a pasta bowl Enjoy! It will only take about 15-20 minutes to prep.

  • Stuffed pepper (25 mins + 30 mins)

    31 MAR 2019 · Essentials: (for one person) - 1 Pepper - 1/2 Onion - 1 garlic clove - Half a cup of rice (about 60-90g) - Ca. 175g Chestnut or closed cup mushrooms (about half a pack!) - 1 Tomato - Some Feta cheese(can be replaced with other cheese, such as Parmesan, shredded cheese or Vegan cheese) - Seasonings - salt, pepper, chilli flakes, paprika... Extras, if fancy: tomato paste, hot sauce, fresh basil for decoration and extra taste... Ca. 25 minutes prep + 30 minutes oven time!
