1 MAR 2023 · Today, The Two Mikes spoke with remarkable gentlemen named Mike Netter. Mr. Netter lives in Los Angeles and he and only a handful of people -- all political novices -- and a $1,000 war chest at the start, but joined together to form an organization called "Rebuild California" which conducted a grassroots campaign -- the largest volunteer-based recall campaign in U.S. history -- that garnered 2.1 million votes to force a recall election against Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom. Although Newsom won the recall election, he and his party were forced to spend $90 million to defeat the recall process engineered by Rebuild California. Mr. Getter said that the organization took advantage of the fact that California is by its constitution a "direct democracy” and citizens can organize to campaign for recalls, referendums, and initiatives. Twenty other states in the Union have the same constitutional opportunities. Mr. Netter also said that he and his partners in the recall campaign learned the following extremely valuable truths about grassroots campaigning. --Stay as far away from "political consultants" and their companies as possible, they are ineffective and horribly expensive. To make the point Mr. Netter pointed out that in California an individual can purchase from the state the voter data for its 22 million voters for $50. --Door-to-door campaigning and the use of email to contact voters is far less expensive and far more effective than using campaign information by mail. Sending two million political flyers by mail costs one million dollars, while sending one million campaign emails costs $10,000. (Rebuild California sent out 36 million emails in the recall campaign.) -- In California the key demographic was not Black, Asian, Hispanic, LBGTQ, etc. --as the media tells their viewers -- but the over-55 Californians who turned out at a 55-percent rate. Mr. Getter noted that there are six million Hispanic voters in California whose turn-out rate is $25%, and that other minorities more or less mirrored that low turn-out rate. Our guest was Dr. Lee Merritt, who has been with us several times previously. As listeners will remember, Dr. Merritt has been valiantly opposing the death-shot for several years, and has been slandered -- probably libeled -- by some of her fellow doctors and some medical associations for telling the truth about the vaccine fraud and its murderous impact on millions. Dr. Merritt gave us an update of the status of the battle against the medical-government-Big Pharma effort to use vaccines that are useless for anything except causing sudden death, wide-spread miscarriages, sterility, crippling's, and enormous population reductions. We also found out today that Dr, Merritt is well versed in Russian history and literature, speaks and reads Russian, and has assessed 5-G transmissions as a threat to human well-being. Dr. Merritt said that we are all lucky that Putin is Russia's president as, at the moment, he seems to be the only adult in the room, and was reacting understandably to the U.S., NATO, and The EU reneging on their written pledges not to move NATO closer to Russia's Western border and not to make Ukraine a member of the NATO or the EU. 22 FEB 2023 · Mr. Fred Coulter returned to The Two Mikes today and spoke very clearly and forcefully about what now is irrefutably true, namely that America is in the thrall of evil and the leadership of satanists. He discussed that the recent Grammy Awards show, and its theme and advocation of satanism. The show, Mr. Coulter said, was directly out of Sodom and Gomorrah, and should be seen by all Christians as a direct threat to their ability to practice their faith in this country. The awards show was quickly followed by the usual nationwide celebration of Valentine's Day, another holiday based on paganism and Satanism, which was followed by the clear Satanism of the Super Bowl's half-time show. Mr. Coulter explained that on this issue God's word cannot be clearer or easier to follow. The Bible clearly educates its readers on two simple choices that all believers must make: (a.) between good and evil, and between normality and perversion. The decision of Christians on these clear choices sort the heaven-bound from those who are not. Likewise, the Bible, beyond doubt, shows that God created only men and women, and to believe otherwise -- as in multiple and changing genders -- is an abomination. Mr. Coulter noted that at the moment it appears that a great many Americans have distanced themselves from the Lord and are, for now , voluntarily headed hellward having recognized Satan as the lord of this world. 21 FEB 2023 · Nelson Balido again joined The Two Mikes to discuss the Democrat-made disaster on our southern border. Mr. Balido is the president of the Border, Commercial, and Security Council, Mr. Balido said that the border remains wide open and, on average, 30,000-40,000 people are illegally crossing the border each day. At Laredo, TX, alone, 17,000 cross daily, and are causing a backup of from 1-to-7 hours for truckers moving legal trade across the border in the U.S. Mr. Balido claimed that too many Americans fail to understand -- because their leaders are silent on the issue -- that almost none of the governments in Latin America have the slightest interest in helping the United States stop the tide of illegals. Why? Because of the remittances that the illegals who cross the border and work in America send home to their families. For many of the governments south of the Rio Grande these remittances are hugely important, often being the 1st or 2nd item in their GDP. As long as this is the case, the governments' will be willing to talk to the U.S. about the problem but will not act to help as they cannot survive the loss of the illegal remittances. Interestingly, Mr. Balido said that when polls are taken among the illegal immigrants in the United States, well more than half indicate they did not come to America to get citizenship, they came here to make money and send part of it home. The same percentage have no intention of seeking citizenship. Mr Balido closed with a few words about the importance of the drones now being used by the cartels to fly fentanyl and other drugs into America, as well as to surveil areas on the U.S. side of the border to make sure they suitable for moving drugs and people across the border. 17 FEB 2023 · Today, The Two Mikes hosted Kevin Stocklin who is the director of a new film called "The Shadow State". The film was produced by The Epoch Times and can be seen on Epoch Times TV. The film covers the creation and current operations of the ESG Movement. ESG stands for "Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance". The ESG'ers, Mr. Stocklin noted, have a $50 billion war-chest to fund what amount to authoritarian efforts to install wokism, social justice, the climate-change madness, equity, reparations, and and a host of other republic destroying measures. The ESG leaders believe that economic and social problems of today cannot be left to the democratic process and must instead be turned over to un-elected "experts" for solution. Likewise, the U.S. government is a failing entity that must be replaced by the WEF's world government. Many major U.S. banks, industries, and businesses are aligned with ESG and are already implementing woke policies. By far the worst of these entities are Vanguard, StateStreet, and Blackrock. Those three firms hold a 90-percent share of the nation's big retirement funds, such as those for policemen, firefighters, civil servants, teachers, etc. In essence, Mr. Stocklin said these investors and other of the country's corporate leaders have pledged to bring America to NET-0 for carbon dioxide, force social justice projects forward, prevent natural gas from being used in homes and businesses, and force the use of renewable energy sources. Mr. Stocklin said that the ESG'ers have a huge advantage by controlling the investments made by the enormous retirement funds. Their investment activities with these funds can only lower the returns on the retirees' money ,as investments in renewable energies return very little profit, not least because renewables are nowhere near able to replace the need for fossil fuels at any point in the foreseeable future, if ever. Although The ESG'ers give no sign of knowing the truth, the fact is that today 84-percent of the world's energy needs can only be met by fossil fuels. 17 FEB 2023 · Today, Riley Moore, the State Treasurer of West Virginia again joined The Two Mikes for a talk about his efforts to keep woke companies from using their mad Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) standards to block companies and industries in the state that seek loans to invest in industries the Green morons hate, such as West Virginia's energy sector. Mr. Moore now leads an alliance of fifteen state treasurers, eight of which have now divested their state funds from such companies as Blackrock, Morgan Stanley, and J.P. Morgan Chase. Mr. Moore and several other state treasurers also are preparing bills for their legislatures that would limit the ability of companies like those just named -- plus StateStreet and Vanguard -- from manipulating proxy voting for corporate directors in order to elect to the board those people who are more amenable to wokism and ESG. He also warned that the champions of ESG are also working to create a back-door national gun registry -- perhaps at the behest of the federal authorities? -- by tracking credit cards to identify everyone who purchases arms or ammunition for personal use, which is of course perfectly legal under the exquisitely clear and definitive 2nd Amendment. In West Virginia, Mr. Moore said that because of the Republican party's efforts both the state income tax and annual state car tax are now on the "glide path" to extinction. Finally, Mr. Moore let us know that he will be leaving his current post in the coming months to run for a Republican seat in the congress in 2024. 16 FEB 2023 · The fine economist and civil war era historian Tom DiLorenzo joined The Two Mikes today to discuss issues touching on both areas. Dr. DiLorenzo has just published a book named The Politically Incorrect Guide to Economics, which has received fifty-five 5-star reviews at Amazon. In talking about his book and the American economy generally, Dr. DiLorenzo said that it now should be obvious to all Americans that the "schemes and plans" of almost all post-Woodrow-Wilson U.S. Governments have been aimed at bringing Americans more and more under its control, just as its foreign policy -- it seems-- is still out to control the world. Quite simply the national government is "unsafe and dangerous ... its main purpose is to take bribes." On the pertinence of Civil War history to today's problems, Dr. DiLorenzo noted that Lincoln's administration entered the conflict in a situation where all three branches of the national government all participated in constitutional interpretation. By the end of the war, the Supreme Court had emerged with the sole responsibility for constitutional interpretation, leading to the current situation where we are ruled by that court, and nine people who have never been elected for anything. Dr. DiLorenzo also noted that the Lincoln administration put the 10th Amendment on the road to meaninglessness, which has led to fewer and fewer powers being lodged in the states and in the people. Today, a person raising the issue of states rights -- meant to guarantee against the tyranny of the national government earns the speaker charges of holding racist and pro-slavery views. Thomas Jefferson, Dr. DiLorenzo said, wanted all Americans -- the governors and the governed -- to be bound by the chains of the Constitution, and especially by the strong protections for liberty found in the 10th Amendment. 8 FEB 2023 · The Two Mikes, today, were most fortunate to receive an introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) from Mr. Zach Vorhies, a computer/engineer and entrepreneur who worked for Google. He quit Google over the manner in which the company operated. Since leaving Google, he has spoken openly about what he saw there and why he left. On this issue of AI, Mr. Vorhees spoke to us about the recent revelations about some media companies using AI to write their articles for them, and how few readers caught onto the ruse. Mr. Vorhies said that AI is growing very quickly and may well soon be a big problem because of the proficiency with which it produces articles -- soon even complete books -- with only a small assist from human beings. The people using AI for these purposes, for example, draw not on a database, but from what more accurately be called a "data lake" consisting of a large number of databases that have been aggregate and arranged for easy and effective access and tasking by anyone who needs an article, a school paper, a statement, a speech, or a book. The rub in this process arises over the question of who is going to feed the data lake. The aggregating process, if even-handed, would provide a previously unseen -- perhaps close to an unimaginable -- source of information from which people could choose on the basis of their needs, personal views, and openness to data that changes previously held views. On the other hand, if feeding the data lake is left to Big Tech companies -- given what we know about their partisan activities over the last decades -- it will be an inflow of data focused on only those things they want Americans to read, and which, over time will be formative of their worldviews, political ideas, social mores, etc. In addition, if a picking and choosing is allowed to occur about what books, manuscript collections, letter collections, memoirs, videos, movies, newspaper, and magazines -- to name just a few categories of pertinent materials -- the Big Tech companies could not only indoctrinate younger readers, but by depriving all Americans of past writings they will able to erase what Americans have learned about the development of their country and the world over the past millennia, and the details of their own country's founding, history and culture. --Mr. Vorhies owns and runs BLAST.VIDEO, which is a website that scans news and videos from all platforms, aggregates them, and makes them available, without editing.
