22 APR 2024 · Elementals In this episode we will be talking about Elementals. We'll go over what Elementals represent along with their corresponding attributes and/or properties. We will also go over on things you can do to invite them into your lives and homes, but be careful as there may be pros and cons to this.  Mermaids/Sirens/Water Spirits In this episode we will be talking about the differences between mermaids,sirens, and water spirits. We'll also go over a little bit of Greek mythology, ancient Egyptian beliefs, and who Mami Wata is.  Djinn The Djinn are said to be beings created from pure scorching wind and smokeless fire that dwell in another dimension that can inhabit our realm of reality. Many scholars are still unsure of the origin of the Djinn, but believe they were once Middle Eastern Gods worshiped by many until the monotheistic religion of Islam took over.  These fire beings are known to possess many powerful abilities such as invisibility, teleportation, telekinesis, shapeshifting and can also read your mind. According to the Quran there are good and evil Djinn, but regardless of the side they choose they are still the descendants of Iblis, also known as, Shaitan (Satan).  The Unicorn Unicorns are magical mythical creatures that have fascinated mankind for centuries. To this day, it seems we are bombarded with unicorn imagery everywhere we go. We have emojis, t-shirts, key chains, stuffed animals, andeven drinks named after them. In ancient times, the first mention of them was said to have appeared in Mesopotamian artwork and later referenced in mythologies across the world in places including China, India and Japan. The words "I Am" can also be related to astrology.  Importance of the Sun There is no doubt that all life exists here on this Earth because of the sun. Ancient civilizations from many different cultures soon learned that without the sun we would have no warmth, no harvest and without those important elements, death would soon follow. The sun is the basis of all life.  It has since been a symbolic and important factor in many cultures and their religions. Christianity is no exception. Join us as we discuss the importance of the sun.  Litha/Midsummer Litha is a holiday where we celebrate the summer solstice. It's that time where the sun is at its peak and it's simultaneously the longest day of the year as well as the shortest night. This sabbath is a fire holiday where many people choose to celebrate it by gathering near a bonfire and/or by incorporating solar magick in to their magickal workings. Blood and its Esoteric Significance As I overheard a conversation regarding a celebrity couple who recently got engaged and supposedly drank each other's blood it inspired to create an episode on the topic. For most the subject of blood is disturbing and can cause people to become dizzy, nauseated, and in worst case scenarios to faint. Doctors attempt to explain this as an example to show us just how imperfect our memory can be, while others believe it is actual proof that alternate universes exist. As much as we can theorize we just can't seem to explain this cultural phenomenon. What do you believe? Deja Vu In this episode we will explore the topic of Déjà Vu. Can science explain this phenomenon that happens to about 2/3 of people all over? Are there explanations beyond the reach of what science can explain? It wouldn't surprise me if those are the first thoughts that come to mind. It is actually two separate and distinct spiritual practices. Voodoo is an actual practiced religion and Hoodoo, also known as root work, is a spiritual practice which deals more with the botanical side and other natural objects. Usually, Hoodoo is used for protection, luck and love spells. Both, however, are African-American spiritual practices. Why then, is it viewed by many as evil and harmful? Ouija Boards In this episode we will go over Ouija Boards! For the longest time the spirit boards have had such negative associations to it that I decided to look deeper into why that is. The spirit boards are just tools used to communicate with other dimensions. Join us as we talk about the spirit boards in a whole different perspective. Stigmata Is it possible to believe in God immensely to the point where someone could manifest in themselves the physical 5 Holy Wounds of Christ? Since the year 1224 there have been over 400 reported cases of Stigmata and many were found to be authentic. Many of those people reported to have had the nail wounds in both their feet and palms of the hands. Some report bleeding on specific feast such as Lent, Good Friday, and other holy days of prayer. Of course, in order for the Church to determine if the cases are authentic they developed a list of criteria that the stigmatic would have meet. If authentic, the question still remains, is Stigmata a Holy or Demonic miracle? Join us as we explore this topic. Souls of Purgatory What happens to us after we die? Some believe we cease to exist, others believe we return back to source, but the majority of people believe we either go to Heaven or Hell. Whether we end up in Heaven or Hell depends on our own actions. However, what of those who have committed horrendous acts, had the time to reflect and sincerely repented for all of their harm caused to others? Well, in Catholicism there is a place called Purgatory. Purgatory is a state where those who believed in God, but have committed grave sins go to in order to be purified and earn their ascension to Heaven. The souls of purgatory depend on our assistance to earn their ascent into Heaven, but how? 4 MAR 2024 · Throughout time and across the world, the mention of shapeshifters has always been around. The concept of beings who are able to transform into animals is certainly nothing new. In the Native-American lore there exist such beings known as Skinwalkers. These malevolent creatures are known to have the ability to shapeshift at will into animals such as wolves, coyotes and foxes to simply name a few. Aside from shapeshifting they can also mimic voices and animal cries to lure their prey, they can take on human possession and are the cause of nightmares. They are definitely a taboo topic that is rarely spoken about in the native tribes and collecting additional information regarding them is challenging. Exorcisms are dangerous because of the physical and/or mental extremes the victim undergoes. Sometimes that can consist of being tied down, beaten and starved. 19 FEB 2024 · Legend of Bloody Mary Almost everyone has heard about the legend of Bloody Mary which can be summoned through your bathroom mirror. It a very popular "game" to play amongst children especially during sleep overs. Legend has it though, that if you are brave enough to go through with this ritual she will appear to you in the reflection of your mirror. Not only will she show herself to you, but she also has the ability to scratch your face, drive people to the point of insanity and in the most severe of cases kill. The question one might wonder is why is she so angry and aggressive? Who is she? In this episode we will go over 3 possible candidates who are rumored to be the real Mary as well as go over the significance of the elements that compose the ritual. Malleus Maleficarum/Witch's Mark Throughout history witchcraft has always been perceived as an evil practice. It is an artform only practiced and/or performed by those who dwell in sin. As society "progressed" there came about precautions that one could look to in order to protect them from the witches' dark arts. So it was handy for both the government and church to have a sort of guide/manual that one could use to convict women of being witches. It was then where the Malleus Maleficarum was created and introduced. This book offered ways in how to identify, interrogate and convict the witches of their time. The Pope's Exorcist Father Gabriele Amorth was without doubt the most famous exorcist of the modern era. As he was both controversial and known as the Pope's Exorcist. He advocated for the necessity of exorcisms and by his account had performed over 100,000 of them. In this episode we will go over a little bit of his journey that led him to the path of becoming the Pope's Exorcist and we will go over what defines an exorcism and the different types that the Catholic Church acknowledges.
