Kamela kicked started her career on a high in 2001 on a tour representing the Ebony Fashion Fair across America, Canada, and The Bahamas, afterwich she moved to Los Angeles where she appeared in campaigns for Motorola, Mitsubishi and NYX Cosmetics. Her success in LA lead her to New York where she continued blazing a path and worked with numerous acclaimed designers such as Marc Jacobs and J.
