Dr. Harold Willmington was a pastor, teacher, dean, and author. He served on the faculty of Liberty University for over 40 years. He was the founding dean of the Thomas Road Bible Institute which eventually became known as the Liberty Bible Institute. In 1976, he began the Liberty Home Bible Institute, a home correspondence course that provided a Bible college education to over 100,000 students.
