  • Paid vs Free, Spreaker Podcast Creation Review: Is it Worth It?

17 AUG 2021 · In this episode, I go over what you get for free when you start using Spreaker as a podcast creation tool. What you should know: I haven't paid for Spreaker, and Spreaker isn't paying me for this review. I don't know how Spreaker stacks up against any other Podcast creation tool, because I haven't tried any of the other ones :) That being said, Spreaker seems to be working pretty well for me. You're reading this, aren't you? That means I was able to get my podcast up and going for free. This is the 4th (and probably final) episode of the Spreaker Review series, but that doesn't mean I'll be gone forever. No way! You won't get rid of me that easily! I'll be back on here soon, possibly talking about NASA and how they faked the alien documentaries to fund their bases on the dark side of the moon where all the ancient reptilian people are investing in Bitcoin and Dogecoin! TO THE MOOOOOON! During this episode, however, I talk about pricing for Spreaker's Pro subscriptions. The cheap one is only about $7 a month, and it offers 100 hours of audio storage and unlimited episodes. Not a bad deal in my opinion.

  • 2nd Review of Spreaker and my new podcast - Third Shift Talk

17 AUG 2021 · It's better than it seems... or maybe it isn't. Honestly, I just can't tell. I'm not everybody's cup of tea. Besides, as my young daughter would say, tea is for English people, we drink coffee here in 'Merica! Who am I to argue with that kind of logic? After all the United States is basically just a spinoff show that started in England, and Canada is basically just the United States without a personality disorder. By this point you might be thinking, jeez, this guy spends more time writing his description that making his podcast. Well, that might be true, but dammit, at least I can edit my description. That's right, I still haven't figured out how to edit the middle portion of my podcast yet. That's fine, I didn't really wanna do that anyway. I like posting longwinded rambling content that makes people think I've lost my mind. You can tell. I know you know. Fine. Listen and follow along for more adventures. Oh I didn't mention adventures? That's right, Bilbo, we're going on some adventures! Oh! I just went over 1,000 words and it let me keep typing! I have a ten thousand word limit for my description, not just 1,000. Change of plans, this might be where I write my novel! Join me next time for an epic fantasy adventure! No, better not promise what I can't deliver. Join me next time for another rambling monologue about a topic I haven't decided to talk about yet! Talk at you soon!

  • My First Review of Spreaker Studio

17 AUG 2021 · This is a very short "episode" where you can listen to my FIRST impression of Speaker Studio as I begin my new podcast. When I say "first," I mean first! Follow along for my journey into podcast land as I use this outlet to improve my life and journal my accomplishments and failures... I still have 500 characters left for this discription... Nah, I'll save it for later! Talk at you soon!

So far: This is a good resource for understanding my experience starting a podcast from scratch. I downloaded a podcast creation tool from Google Playstore. I found one that had a good rating and started figuring it out on my own. You can follow my progress over 4 episodes (more to come, but they might not be about the podcast creation process). I learn about sound effects, editing, adding descriptions, publishing, and downloading my own podcasts to my Podcatcher of choice.

Later... Join me as I try to improve my life. Follow my accomplishments and failures. Learn with me. Share your feedback. I'm going to make my first mistake by not focusing in on one topic, but that's okay. I'll learn, and I'll improve! That's what this channel is all about. Follow if you're interested in politics, entertainment, writing fiction, religion/atheism, stock market, dogs, number 2 pencils, raspberry yogurt, growing tomatoes, throwing tomatoes, throwing yogurt, throwing parties, partying all night, rock and rolling all night, the band KISS, kissing, bald guys, subliminal messages, comedy, just a joke, calm down, I didn't mean it, don't be so sensitive, I know... yes I know... no, don't call your mother. I'm sorry. I said I was sorry. Yes, I mean it. Yes, I'm sorry. Come on, let's go to Target, I'll buy you those shoes you wanted. Yes, we can stop at Taco Bell on the way back. I love you, too.
