22 DEC 2023 · Here is episode 9 of the ‘Magical Mystery Talk’ podcast examining occult and esoteric aspects of the Beatles and associated topics. I feature just on the intro to this one, then handing the reins over to Matt Sergiou and Desiree Hall for the full conversation. Here are Matt’s notes on the show: Magical Mystery Talk episode 9 – number 9, number 9, number 9: A Whole Load to Talk About In this episode of Magical Mystery Talk that Mark – with the exception of his opening intro – has stepped back from, thanks to his very busy schedule at the time of recording it, Desiree and I also talk about a number of new books that have been released since the last time we spoke in January 2023, including ‘Dead Groovy,’ which takes a look at the life, career and suicide – or was it murder – of David Jacobs who, during the 1960s, was lawyer for The Beatles and the band’s manager Brian Epstein, who was also his friend. Also published was ‘Living the Beatles Legend: The Untold Story of Mal Evans,’ a biography about one of the group’s most trusted inner circle. He was their roadie, their gofer, their constant welcome presence, and a productive asset in some of the sounds that were written and also created in the recording-studio by one or more of the Beatles and/ or their artists on their ‘Apple’ label. He too, same as Jacobs, met a suspicious end to his life, dying violently from police gunfire, four years before John Lennon was shot, and his death too is mentioned by me and Desiree given that yet another book out in 2023 is ‘Mind Games: The Assassination of John Lennon,’ authored by TV producer and researcher, David Whelan. As you might be aware, I posted up an interview with him some weeks prior to the release of this ninth episode of Magical Mystery Talk, and it’s available at ‘The Occult Beatles.’ Elsewhere, Paul McCartney’s daughter, Stella, has been flying the flag for so-called ‘climate change’ – yet again, as has her friend Phoebe Gates, daughter of Bill Gates – yes, you read that right(!). George Harrison’s son, Dhani, released an album in 2023 featuring lyrics of a Magical Mystery Talk flavour, it would appear, and towards the end of the year there was the passing of musician and singer/songwriter, Denny Laine, former member of the band Wings. All this is discussed plus a lot, lot more. There truly, really was much to talk about, and weaving in and out of a large chunk of it is P.i.D. – which Ringo has had something to say about in 2023!

This time round: The evidence for the Maharishi’s Ashram retreat, site of the Beatles’ famous India pilgrimage in 1968, being linked to both the CIA and the KGB, possible new clues in Paul McCartney’s material new and old pointing to a switch-out or possible death, McCartney addressing Beatles “conspiracy theories”, George Martin’s eldest son, Gregory Martin, going rogue, and more.

22 JUL 2021 · Beatles experts Matt Sergiou and Desiree Hall join Mark Devlin for the first MMT show of 2021, discussing conspiratorial and esoteric aspects of the group and their associates. This time we start off on current events, examining the reactions of Paul McCartney, his daughter Stella and Ringo Starr to the Covid Scamdemic, before considering Sean Lennon’s recent criticism of “woke” culture. The re-release of the Plastic Ono Band album prompts a delve into the past, as does the death this year of sometime Beatles and Lennon collaborator, producer Phil Spector.

9 DEC 2020 · In this Bonus Edition Matt and Desiree take a deeper dive into a number of the aspects surrounding the killing that have either been ignored and not reported by the mainstream media or are at odds with the general, ‘official’ version of events that it has continued to trumpet for decades. As has been mentioned in the first part of the two instalments of this Magical Mystery Talk showcase into the Lennon shooting, there are numerous inconsistencies, contradictions and seeming anomalies with the so-called ‘official’ narrative. Matt and Desiree delve deep into a few more of these inconsistencies, contradictions and seeming anomalies, such as the long-running tag-line that’s always been attached to Mark David Chapman, the man currently in prison for shooting Lennon, that he is a ‘Beatles crazed nut’ and a ‘loner.’ There’s also some questions to ask about what exactly went on at the hospital where the bloodied Lennon was taken to be resuscitated following the shooting. Also, in this bonus edition, there’s quite a bit of focus on the possibility that Chapman may well have been mind-controlled (MK’ed) in order to come face to face with Lennon on that December night.

8 DEC 2020 · Marking the occasion of the 40th anniversary of John Lennon's murder, Matt, Desiree and Mark revisit that fateful night in New York, discussing aspects of Lennon's alleged assassin, Mark Chapman, and anomalies and discrepancies in the official narrative which never get discussed in the mainstream. We also get into the mysterious figure of Jose Perdomo, an alleged CIA assassin, who just happened to be working as the doorman at the Dakota Building on the night. Up for discussion this time are the 50th anniversary of the group’s official break-up, the recent passing of German photographer Astrid Kircherr who played a key role in the Beatles’ early image, and was engaged to bass player Stuart Sutcliffe until his own extremely early death, Paul McCartney’s apparent bad memory, the connection into the Black Lives Matter narrative of the song ‘Penny Lane,’ and the co-opting of Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ into a kind of socialist anthem for these times, the postponement of the upcoming Peter Jackson ‘Let It Be: Get Back’ movie, and the claims of plagiarism levelled against the recent Beatles-themed movie ‘Yesterday.’
