This is a very rare album I just put together from a cassette tape with a performance of "The Lockwood Mountain Boys" at Torto's in Binghamton, N.Y. on June 14th 1979. This band was created with my cousins Jeff and Timmy Lockwood who lived next door when I was eleven years old! Our 5-string Banjo player is Bob Lindsey we all sang but Tim did most of the leads. Tim also played Mandolin and the Fiddle. Jeff was on guitar and I did the stand-up Bass. We played mostly to raise money for Cancer, MS, and other just causes at nursing homes, for Vets, fairs, and many benefits for local families in need. I never thought I'd hear the band again till Jeff found this cassette. He burned it to a CD and I spent the day trying to EQ the mix better and get rid of the noise. It sounds surprisingly well for what it did sound like. I hope you enjoy this. As I figure out the titles I'll add them as some escape me after 37 years!
