20 DEC 2017 · Secondo episodio di NO RIFF UNTURNED RADIO sui migliori dischi del 2017, posizioni dalla 40 alla 31. Dopo aver ascoltato una mole di circa 5-600 dischi (!!!), alcuni parzialmente, alcuni integralmente, molti più e più volte, avevo programmato di pubblicare 10 classifiche da 10 dischi ciascuna, divisi per genere, per un totale di 100 dischi. Ma sarebbero stati troppi, non tanto per il lavoro enorme che ciò avrebbe comportato, ma perchè 100 dischi avrebbero diluito troppo la classifica a discapito della qualità. Quindi ho preferito scegliere i 50 dischi che semplicemente mi hanno colpito di più, che ho ascoltato di più, e che ho più voglia di riascoltare. Avevo anche pensato di proporre semplicemente 50 dischi senza un ordine particolare, ma alla fine ho ceduto alla classifica, che nelle ultime settimane è variata praticamente ogni giorno, con esclusioni e rientri, senza distinguo tra band "importanti", "famose" o giovani. Ovviamente la classifica è soggettiva e non pretende di coprire TUTTO il panorama rock/metal, ma spero comunque di riuscire a segnalarvi qualche disco particolarmente valido e promuovere chi, secondo me, ha meritato di più nel 2017, dopotutto si tratta di questo!
