6 SEP 2020 · Mini reflection on not my excuse for being in an abusive relationship but a factor that perhaps could’ve been avoided with the right care and attention. We can’t blame ourselves for things out of our control. But we can’t give excuses for letting things happen to those we love because we have our minds set on acceptance and love of another man/woman and not our child.

25 JUL 2020 · Sorry. I have a potty mouth but it’s been a lot of bullshit to put up with and I’m sharing what I need to in order to help and heal. There’s something powerful in coming together. Abusers never want you to be vocal. And they are always going to try and deflect and throw out malice comments, they will try to discredit you. If you have things pointed out you’re embarrassed or afraid of by your abuser, still be proud you showed your strength. I’m far from perfect. Way far. One thing I can take pride in is never abusing someone and breaking a person down that has nothing but love to give me.

How an abuser can possibly ruin the victims relationship with their own flesh and blood. This is just the first chapter to a huge plot of the pain and reality of domestic violence.
