Cherry Wood Smoked Barley marries innovation with the bourbon industry’s historic roots by paying tribute to the craftsmanship and vision of past distillery industry leaders Oscar Pepper and James Crow, who once distilled on the current day site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery.

8 DEC 2017 · The brand ambassador, known as Glenfiddich Dave comes in to talk about One of the of entries in the Glenfiddich Experimental Series – a whisky finished in casks seasoned with India Pale Ale. The Speyside Craft Brewery created a special beer which was aged in ex-Glenfiddich casks for a month before they were returned to the distillery and filled with whisky for a three month finished. The result is a vibrant and fruity dram.

17 NOV 2017 · The brand ambassador, known as Glenfiddich Dave tells the story of Malt Master Brian Kinsman and how he travelled to Canada to meet a renowned winemaker in Niagara. There he learned how the grapes had to be picked by moonlight at -10˚C to produce the intensely sweet Icewine. Upon his return to the Glenfiddich Distillery Brian started experimenting with several French oak Icewine casks from the Canadian winery, filling them with different Glenfiddich aged malts for up to six months. Only the rarer whiskies, those aged for 21 years, could cope with the extra Icewine intensity.
