  • SEASON 3: Episode 10 - Keep Your Roots

2 APR 2021 · This final episode in this season, is a lesson from flowers. The presenter shares the importance of maintaining ones roots, in order to ensure one is continually anchored to be nourished and sustained. Beautiful, ornamental floral arrangements wilt and dry up after a couple of days, even though they are placed in water. However, without their roots, the plants cannot maintain their poise and presence, because they are technically dead. So it is when we cut ourselves off from the things that keep us grounded, when we abanbon the things that centre our inner man and drives our being, sooner than later we will wilt and soon after wither away and be destroyed and or discarded.

  • SEASON 3: Episode 9 - The Fallacy of Success and The Virtue of Humanity

7 MAR 2021 · This episode presents the premise that no one knows the key to success. While there are practices and principles that lead to success, these are not guarantees. While we cannot put our finger on the "thing" that brings success, the same is true for failure. No one knows if or when failure or success will come. Consequently, we should not be too caught up with ourselves when life favours us with success, neither should we turn our noses up at people who do not acquire great wealth. While we work to achieve our level of success as we deem it, we should always remember to honour people who have not reached a high level of means, affluence or influence. Let us embrace people for the person that they are; treating them not "like a means to an end, but rather, as ends in themselves."
