18 JUN 2020 · In this episode we will spend most of our time understanding the concept of the ‘Day of Atonement’; and how it illustrates the way God will deal with the problem of sin. We will also talk about a great multitude, that attended this service on Earth, and are now seen in Heaven. This people come from every nation to celebrate the wedding supper of the Lamb. They are clothed in Christ’s righteousness, they are saved! Finally, we will discover that the scapegoat, Satan, is removed from the camp, never ever to come back. This means sin will never haunt us or rise a second time!

11 JUN 2020 · In this episode we will focus on the fifth vision of John, with the 7 last plagues. These plagues effect the whole world and take place just before Jesus comes back. In the vision, John sees that no one can enter the temple in heaven, because it is filled with smoke. This means judgement has been pronounced and the choices of all men have been sealed. There is no turning back now! Yet, even in the midst of all this mayhem and destruction, Jesus assures us that he will come again, and warns us to remain alert.

4 JUN 2020 · On this episode we focus on the fourth vision of John, depicting the battle between Christ and Satan. This epic battle began with the rebellion of Lucifer in heaven and has changed the course of human history. At every turn, Satan attempted to gain advantage over Jesus, his people and his church. But Satan failed, again and again! One day, the redeemed will stand before the throne of God, praising and giving thanks. They will testify that Jesus is the victor and the enemy was overcome by the blood of the lamb.

28 MAY 2020 · On this episode we will focus on the seven trumpets of Revelation. We will discover that, in ancient times, the end of the religious ceremony of the Daily Burnt Offering Sacrifice was marked with the blowing of seven silver trumpets. Much like these trumpets, the trumpets in Revelation remind us that Jesus completed His sacrifice for us. His sacrifice redeems all our sins. Alleluia! One day, this same Jesus will return to take us home.

21 MAY 2020 · In the second vision of John, we focus on the scroll and its importance in the coronation service of Jesus as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. A scroll in that time was what a sceptre is to us today. When John saw the scroll, he wept because it seemed no one in Heaven was worthy to take it and break its seals. This meant no one could rule the universe and it would spiral into utter destruction! Thankfully, the lamb was worthy to take the scroll! This lamb is none other than Jesus. By breaking each seal, Jesus reminds us that He has the right to sit on the throne and rule the universe. One day, this same Jesus will return to take us home.

14 MAY 2020 · In the first vision of John we discover that Jesus is the first and the last. This means Jesus was not created. He is eternal. Jesus has no beginning and no end. We also learn that Jesus can see the deepest secrets of our hearts. Despite the mess that He finds there, Jesus still wants to walk with us. He still wants us to be part of His Kingdom. His love for us does not depend on our behaviour, but on His grace.

7 MAY 2020 · During this first episode, we will learn that Jesus is at the centre of Revelation. He belongs there! As we open the lid on this treasure chest, we find Jesus. We also learn that the book of Revelation resembles, in its structure, a first century play. Plays in those days put more importance on giving an impression through acting, than through the words themselves. So, as we study Revelation, let’s not miss the bigger picture. Let’s focus on the broader brush strokes, rather than the thin lines.
