  • Stock Investment Programs

11 OCT 2022 · I believe these stock investment programs to be the very best way for anyone to invest. They are especially good for beginners, and you can get started investing in small increments any time you want. (Few people know of these programs and even fewer utilize them, and yet I've never met a wealthy person who did NOT know about these programs, especially to start setting aside money for their children.) Please don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity. Please post any questions you may have to the comment section below. I look forward to answering any questions you might have. Below is a link to my Podcast. I am not sponsored or endorsed by Spreaker in any way at the moment. Spreaker is available for Android and Apple phones.

  • Beware of financial gurus

1 JAN 2022 · There are investors and then there are investors. The likes of Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger are the cream of the crop. They broke the mold of what a financial guru is and what we should expect from one. They have a near perfect track record of integrity. I would be very careful when listening to anyone else. Between those two guys there's plenty of books and resources that can help you learn how they did it. As someone new to investing, educate yourself on the fundamentals. You can begin investing in great companies before you fully understand what you are doing, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't still strive to understand what you are doing. And ask questions! That's what the comment section is for. Be careful of anyone that believes they've found the secret to investing for one reason alone! The best kept secrets are the ones you yourself learn and have confidence in! Invest first in yourself and your own self-esteem and confidence! Heck, invest in skills you want to learn that can help you make more money if you'd like. Confidence is something you develop in yourself! The Internet is a place of many things! The 99.9% of which are delusions.

  • Show me! Don't tell me! (financial discipline)

16 DEC 2021 · The foundation of financial discipline is everyday commonsense. Commonsense is reinforced by making decisions that help you save money. Saving money by itself does not grow in value. But it is a starting point to investing. A penny saved is a penny earned. Everything from paying less to shopping for the best that also saves you money to avoiding unnecessary fees, penalties, charges, fines, etc. are just a small part of it. It's a way of life! In this post on Personal Finance and Financial Discipline, I discuss some essential parts to helping your financial behavior work for you and not against you, and I also recommend ways to get out and challenge yourself to raise money to finance your investment and life goals.

  • What is Inflation and why it matters

1 DEC 2021 · TLDR: Many people have no idea why they should invest. Even more have no idea what risks they are taking by not paying off their debts and making good investments. The most important reason why you should invest is to beat Inflation. For example, your hard earned money will not have the same value ten years down the line and even less 30 years down the line. Inflation directly affects the power your money has to pay for goods and services you need. The moral of the story of Inflation is to pay off your debts first and to invest your money so that it will grow over time, preferably faster than the current rate of inflation. That's why it matters.
