22 APR 2024 · Today I’m shaking it up … big time! This episode is a recording from last Friday, the 19th of April. My friend Rob invited me to come on Thunder 91.1 (SUU’s radio station) during his shift so he could interview me about my podcast. I met Rob Burdzy in my Audio Production class this semester. I am a front-row student (as you probably already know haha!) and so is Rob! We became friends and have bonded over our mutual interest in depth and in growth. In this episode we discuss depth, meaning, growth, my podcast, friendship, and more! Rob is a fantastic person and friend. He is just starting out as an influencer and is excited to get to know people and ask them about their lives and what makes them who they are. I feel like I learn so much everyday, and I (can’t believe I’m saying this) love reading the textbook. Today I talk about operant conditioning in relation to parenting. This topic is vast and complex, and this episode merely scratches the surface. Specifically, I talk about reinforcement, extinction, schedules of reinforcement, PREE (partial reinforcement extinction effect), and extinction bursts. 18 MAR 2024 · I’m BACK! Hallelujah! I took a 3-4 week hiatus, but I’m back and hoping to not disappear on you again. Today I talk about my thoughts for my upcoming seminary lesson that I’ll be teaching tomorrow (3/19/24). It’s about feasting upon the words of Christ. My main focus is on showing the youth that reading the scriptures can be *exciting* and enjoyable. Because when it’s exiting and enjoyable, it’s so much easier to feast!
