  • 4-28-24 "Our Journey With Jesus: Discipling Another” by Pastor Glen

29 APR 2024 · Jesus uses the imagery of a vine and branches to make the point of how important it is that we stay connected to Him. But where does that connection lead? All three readings for this Sunday point us in a similar direction, answering that very question. We’ll be thinking more about the Mark of Discipleship that is discipling or walking alongside another person. As always, if you can’t be here in-person, take advantage of our live stream option. • 4-14-2024 “Our Journey With Jesus: Reading Scripture” by Pastor Glen

15 APR 2024 · In Luke 24, Jesus speaks about how everything needed to be fulfilled that was written about Him throughout the Old Testament – which speaks to how important it is for us to read and know God’s Word, both Old and New Testaments, and to see how all Scripture points us to Jesus. He then opened their minds to be able to understand the Scriptures. He continues to do that for us yet today and through faith and through God’s Word, as Jesus says at the end of this reading, we are witnesses of all these things! How does knowing the Word of God and being regularly in the Word help us on our journey with Jesus? Come to worship on Sunday and find out! • 4-7-24 “Our Journey With Jesus: Giving” by Pastor Greg Hafeman

8 APR 2024 · Continuing our celebration of Easter and Christ’s victory, we read in Acts 4 how the resurrection empowered the disciples to live selfless and giving lives. Gratitude, generosity, and love shown through their lives as they gave of themselves, their finances, and their resources to share Christ’s love and the power of the resurrection with others. It’s not about coercion but how the resurrection transforms our lives. Both the 1 John and the John 20 readings provide more foundational pieces that can be related to how and why we give freely, generously, and with thankfulness from all that the Lord has given us. Being intentional about giving in such a way is an important part of our journey with Jesus. As always, if you can’t be here in-person, take advantage of our live stream option. • 3-31-24 “Easter and Honest Emotions” by Pastor Glen

1 APR 2024 · Focusing on the Gospel account from John regarding the resurrection, we are going to look more closely at the wide range of emotions that we see from the disciples, from His other followers, and even from Jesus Himself as we recognize that the Easter story isn’t just a “story,” but rather it is God conveying to us ever so clearly that He knows everything that’s going on in our lives, that He deeply cares for and about us, and that He is here to continue walking with us. This Easter message will include elements of our Lent series (Honest Emotions) and what is coming with the Easter series and the journey on which we find ourselves, walking with Jesus and Jesus with us. • 3-10-2024 “Psalm 107: Tell Our Stories” by Pastor Glen

11 MAR 2024 · Psalm 107 was likely used in a liturgical sense with one of Israel’s annual religious festivals. It’s a psalm of praise to God for His unfailing love – a response for His hearing and answering the prayers of His people in need and of His saving actions. This psalm gets very real with regard to the troubles, the challenges, and the hardships we face, including being up against death itself. And these are the stories that we’re to be telling – stories of our lives that point people back to Jesus. We hope you can join us as we step through Psalm 107 together! • 2-25-2024 “Psalm 22: A Psalm of Jesus… and Us” by Pastor Glen

26 FEB 2024 · Psalm 22 is another psalm written by King David. No other psalm is quoted more frequently in the New Testament than Psalm 22. This is a psalm that, more than almost any other, points directly to Jesus and His suffering on the cross on Good Friday. We’ll focus on some of those direct images tied to Jesus’ Passion and also ask what they mean for us. If you want honesty, this is a psalm where King David pours out his heart in a very personal and, at the same time, a very prophetic way. David’s prayer here is seeking God’s help and deliverance. Throughout Psalm 22 there are emotions and prayers that we can most certainly relate to. As always, if you can’t be here in-person, take advantage of our live stream option.
