She has been a yoga instructor and guide for 8 years, and helps people of all experience levels realize the benefits of stretching, fitness and concentration from the practice of yoga. She first got introduced to yoga as a treatment for anxiety. She found the experience helpful and dove into the practice as a way to release the anxiety and naturally connect with her body and her feelings. Rebecca and Vic discuss how yoga is approachable to beginners, but also can be expanded to challenging poses for those who would like to add on core or learn advanced poses. As we explore redesigning the healthcare delivery system, yoga is one of the best tools for individuals to learn to breathe, become comfortable in their bodies and grow to their full potential.     6 JUL 2023 · Jeanine "Nini" Martin is 1st Generation German albeit born in Boston, MA, raised in San Francisco, CA and living in Nashville, TN. She learned English at age 6 years old in Kindergarten when she wrote on a piece of paper that she would compete in the Olympics which she trialed in tennis in 1984 out of Los Angeles, CA at the age of only 14 years old. Jeanine has been in the HIT industry for the past 25+ years across both US/Global public health and private commercial health providers, payers and life sciences companies from the Fortune 500 to HIT Startup Unicorns to IPO's. She spent 10 of those years working under the leadership of Bill Gates & Steve Ballmer at Microsoft/Accenture/Avanade being 1 of only 5 GTM Strategists that built their 1st US/Global HLS Industry Business Unit to a $2.5B market. In order to place Microsoft on the HLS map, she landed the single largest HLS deal in the history of the company leading with a Team of 30 over 12 months to align a 5 year HIT strategy plan from the single largest health payer and medical group in US to close a joint $122M+ commercial deal. In this capacity, he carries on the organization’s century-long tradition of fostering healthy rural communities through innovation and collaborative partnerships. Anticipating the convergence of rural health needs and emerging technologies, Tommy established strategic partnerships with United Health’s Optum business and technology services and Silicon Valley’s iconic Andreessen Horowitz Bio + Health fund that backs entrepreneurs building the future of medicine through technology with early-stage venture capital. Bassett’s 90-year partnership with Columbia University’s Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons has expanded under Tommy’s tenure to include cardiovascular telehealth with Columbia’s renowned Irving Medical Center. Tommy earned his MD in Cambridge, England, and is currently pursuing an MBA through Columbia University Business School. He earned a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration at Seton Hall University and did his residency at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Board certified in internal medicine, Tommy is a hospitalist. He is a Fellow in Hospital Medicine (FHM), Fellow of American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), and Certified Physician Executive (CPE) by the American Academy of Physician Leaders.
