Some of the prominent artists who contributed vocals to the song include: - Teddy Pendergrass - Lou Rawls - Archie Bell - Dee Dee Sharp Gamble - Billy Paul - Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes - The O'Jays These artists, among others, came together to perform the song as part of a collaborative effort to raise awareness about the need to address urban blight and poverty in inner-city neighborhoods.
