Today's topic: Charlie Wilson-I'm Blessed. Hello! I'm Gail Nobles. Happy 2024. Charlie Wilson has a song titled I'm Blessed from his 2017 album In It To Win It. The song features T.I. In his lyrics he mentions that he knew God was with him and how he always used to pray. His prayer was that he asked God to not let the devil kill him while he was out there in the streets. He promised God that if he would give him one more chance at life and music that he would testify. I've been watching Charlie for a long time. He's the lead singing guy from the group The Gap Band. They had songs such as Outstanding, Party Train, Yearning For Your Love, You Dropped A Bomb On Me, and more. I remember the group The Gap Band from the 80s, but their years active was in 1967 to 2010. Charlie Wilson has been singing a long time. It's great that he remembers God in his singing. I'm Blessed is a song by Charlie that helps us to remember how blessed we are because things could be worse in our lives. We need to give praise to God and thank him for what we have already. There is a good message in Charlie’s song I'm Blessed. I'm Gail Nobles. Thank you for listening to Gospel Railway Praise. Have a blessed 2024.

  • The Rance Allen Group 10:10:23 11.12 PM

11 OCT 2023 · Keyboardist: Gail Nobles Vocals: Gail Nobles The Rance Allen Group was a gospel music group formed in Monroe, Michigan, named after its lead vocalist, Bishop Rance Allen. The group was formed by vocalist, guitarist, pianist, and songwriter Rance Allen with his brothers Tom (drums) and Steve (bass guitar); another brother, Esau (percussionist), joined the group on an intermittent basis. They have a song titled Everything Is Gonna Be Alright. from their 1972 album the Rance Allen Group. I love it when they stop all the music and let Rance sing with the drums and the background singers. It’s a song that makes you feel like clapping your hands or tapping your feet. It’s a gospel song that makes you feel just what it said: Everything Is Gonna Be Alright. Rance Allen was a Bishop, Minister, and gospel musician, and of course the founder and leader of the Rance Allen Group. Known for his extremely wide vocal range and powerful singing voice, Allen became known as the main lead vocalist and the leader of the influential group. He passed away on October 31, 2020 at the age of 71. Rance Allen left us with great memories and music. I'm Gail Nobles, and you're listening to Gospel Railway Praise.

  • Portraying Christ 9:30:23 10.20 PM

1 OCT 2023 · Story by: Gail Nobles Good evening! I'm Gail Nobles on Gospel Railway Praise. Todays topic: Portraying Christ. I've seen actors portray Christ in movies acting out what is written in the Bible in the gospel way. Now I see rappers portraying Christ in music, but not in the gospel way. Some Christians call it or see it as mockery. We do need to be careful when it comes to the son of God. We do not need to Tamper with what is holy. In my opinion, if any man portrays Christ, he needs to portray the truth about Christ and not tamper with God's holy word. We need to tell the word just as God had it written for us because it is His holy word. You’re listening to Gospel Railway Praise. I am your host Gail Nobles.

  • The Devil Tries To Destroy Music 7:26:23 4.27 PM

26 JUL 2023 · Story by: Gail Nobles Photo: https://pixabay.com/illustrations/earth-globe-music-notes-world-5306907/ Intro music: https://samplefocus.com/ I heard Mavis Staples say that the devil ain't got no music and that all music belongs to God. Well, I can see where she's right. God made music, and if it were not for him, music wouldn't be here. It wouldn't be made. God got angels in heaven singing, and Lucifer, who is now the devil, knows all about music according to Ezekiel chapter 28 verse 13. “…the workmanship of the tablets and of thy pipes was prepared in theday that thou wast created.” That lets you know Satan knew something about music. He was an anointed cherub according to verse 14. Man assumes he was the leader of the heavenly choir. But Satan is trying to destroy music & turn it into nothing. He doesnt have one good idea because he’s all about destruction. People are hardly writing and singing about true love today. And some Gospel songs don’t say anything about God. But they’ll call it Gospel. There are songs that don’t make any sense at all. And when you hear about the music industry, and the artists trying to make money, it doesn’t sound too good. Man had increased in knowledge with the internet and things began to change. We need to pray to God about our music, and ask him to lead and guide us in the right direction when we use our talents and gifts. We need to get away from the explicit stuff, and a whole lot of other stuff leading people the wrong way; messing up the minds of the people. It will be your fault in the end. Remember that the Devil doesnt want nobody to succeed. He’s nobody’s friend. He’s not even a friend to himself, and he knows that he will be destroyed. Not music. Music will always be here. Like Mavis Staples said, it belongs to God. Im Gail Nobles, and you’re listening to Gospel Railway Praise.

  • Gloria Gaynor Heard God’s Voice - 11:5:22 5.31 AM

5 NOV 2022 · Intro music: Samplefocus.com https://samplefocus.com/samples/gospel-vintage-chop-passionate-singing Usage: Standard License - Royalty Free Photo Usage: Public Domain https://wayansbros.fandom.com/wiki/Gloria_Gaynor Info from: CBN - Gloria Gaynor Shares Miraculous Moment God Saved Her From Life of Sin and How It Changed Her Career Forever Hi I’m Gail Nobles & you’re listening to Christian News on Gospel Railway Praise. According to CBN News, The Queen of Disco, Gloria Gaynor shared a miraculous moment. God saved her from a life of sin and how it changed her life. In the 1980s, she was known for her parties. People were coming in with drugs, and she talked about how she was ready to get involved. But one day the Queen of Disco heard the voice of God. Gloria Gaynor is known for her hit song, I Will Survive. For a year, the Queen of Disco said she did nothing, but sit and learn and study the word and listen to the Lord and write songs. After a year, the Lord sent her back with this: “My word speaks of all the issues of life. What would make you think I wouldn’t want you to sing about all the issues of life from my point of view?” And she said that’s what she did. She changed some of the lyrics to some of her songs - some of the songs she doesn’t sing at all anymore. I heard and saw a change in Gloria Gaynor when I heard her sing, I Will Survive at the 30th AnniversaryCelebration of Michael Jackson. I heard her mention the Lord in her song. She said, “Only the Lord could give me strength not to fall apart though I tried hard to mend the pieces of my broken heart.” She was singing, I Will Survive. I heard Gloria Gaynor in a different way. I thought, She must have been through something to include the Lord. She sings as if she knows what she’s singing about. The Queen of Disco also gave great advice and encouragement to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. I knew she was keeping it real. Gloria Gaynor has a gospel album titled Testimony. The album was released in 2019 by Gather Music Group. It won the Grammy Award for Best Roots Gospel Album. The song "Talkin' 'Bout Jesus" was also nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance/Song. I’m so glad that Gloria Gaynor heard God’s voice. I’m so glad that she listened. I’m Gail Nobles. You’re listening to Christian News. Tune in again next time for more. Thank you for listening.

The song was released in 1974. The Chi-Lites lyrics say, “ What went on in the dark Has come to the light Tell me who’s to blame And what’s his name? You can’t point your finger But you gotta remember What was done was done by a man So we gotta tell em’ There will never be any peace Until God is seated at the conference table .. A conference table is where we hold a meeting. We can’t do it without God. He has the final say so. The Chi-Lites have done right by singing such a song. It’s a beautiful truthful song because man don’t want war to end. It takes God to make it so. The song, There Will Never Be Any Peace (Until God Is Seated At The Conference Table is written by Eugene Record. A singer, songwriter, arranger and record producer. He was the lead vocalist of The Chi-Lites from 1960s to 1970s. He wrote and produced many of their hits, but he also produced for other artists. • Eddie Kendricks - He’s A Friend 2:21:22 1.08 PM

21 FEB 2022 · Podcast Vocals by: Gail Nobles Keyboardist: Gail Nobles Song by: Eddie Kendricks Intro singing … And do you know who that friend was that he was singing about? He was singing about Jesus Christ. Eddie Kendricks! He was a singer and songwriter of course, and he had a very distinctive falsetto singing style. I sang a little bit of the song to let you know how it goes, and it hasn’t been easy. Kendricks was one of the lead singers in the group the Temptations from 1960 until 1971. He was the lead voice on songs like Get Ready, The way You Do The Things You Do, and Just My Imagination. As a solo artist, Kendricks recorded several hits of his own during the 1970’s including the number one single, Keep On Truckin’. But Eddie Kendricks released a gospel song in 1976 titled, He’s a Friend. It was from his seventh album. “He’s a Friend” fell one step away from securing another #1 R&B single for Eddie, stopping at #2 behind “Disco Lady” by Johnnie Taylor. It should have been a hit for the gospel charts as well, but that I do not know. However, the world loved the song. You know the world needs the gospel too. If you would like to hear Eddie Kendricks song, you’ll find it on his seventh album titled, He’s a Friend. It’s a whole lot better than my little intro that I played earlier, but this is the best that I can do considering that radio music is not podcasting. You’re listening to Gospel Railway Praise. I’m your host, Gail Nobles.
