Understanding Fat Burning Hormones Understanding hormones effect on weight loss can change your life. When it comes to fat burning hormones, there are over six different types of hormones. Each specific fat burning hormone has a different purpose and use in the human body. - Growth Hormone - Insulin-like Growth Factor - Glucagon - Adrenaline - Thyroid hormones - Testosterone In the Get Lean Today podcast, Dr. Raj Banerjee explicitly elucidates how each hormone plays a major role in the human body. In the podcast, he will teach exactly how to trigger each hormone and what to be careful of prior to triggering any fat-burning hormone. The Role of Fat Storing Hormones On the opposite end of fat burning is fat storing. Fat-storing hormones are the ones that are responsible for absorbing fat and storing in the human body. As a result, these are the hormones that are causing individuals to struggle when it comes to losing weight. In effort to reverse this and burn fat, it’s important to understand the three-different fat-storing hormones. - Insulin - Estrogen - Cortisol Many people tend to point the fingers at these three hormones and call them the “ugly fat storing hormones.” The truth is, while they may be storing fat, these hormones are just as vital as the other 597 hormones in the human body. Dr. Raj Banerjee discusses with Trista Polo how each of these three hormones benefit and impact the human body and the important triggers that everyone must know. Staying in the Zone It’s important to try to keep your body in the fat burning zone rather than the fat storing zone. To track and measure where your body is currently at, Dr. Raj Banerjee discusses a few ways an individual can do this. For example, through doing a simple blood test, one can gauge the hormonal levels and blood sugar levels. If an individual is not in the fat burning zone, Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee confer what they need to do. Through understanding hormones effect on weight loss, your body type, and controlling the type of foods you are eating, one can completely reverse the hormonal levels and blood sugar levels. For those who are attempting to burn fat but can’t, the reason resides here. • Episode #011 - How Hormones Affect Your Body Shape

4 AUG 2016 · Hormones play a vital role in the health of our bodies and particular body shapes for that matter. Knowing your body and learning what it takes for a body to be healthy comes down to educating yourself. There’s nothing more important than staying healthy. Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee sit down in this podcast and discuss more about hormones effect on body shape and how it can effect weight loss. They will also talk about synthesized hormones found in foods and pesticides that mimic actions of natural hormones, causing a disruption in hormone signals. Glands are hormone receptors that send and receive signals or cellular instructions that tell cells how to function and what to do. These can become inactive or stop correctly receiving messages for a number of reasons. There are six fat burning hormones in the body that tell certain glands to activate the fat burning process. Raj Banerjee explains what glands and hormones are and their unique functions. Meet Your Glands Glands work hand-in-hand with hormones in effectively sending and receiving messages from areas in the body detailing procedures for cells to follow. For example, the adrenal gland is responsible for the sending and receiving of the adrenaline hormone for stress. Glands are like governors for areas in the body and duties include effectively controlling their areas and properly sending and receiving messages for stimulated responses. Picture yourself in your car driving. For two blocks a police officer has been following you. When you make a turn onto a street, the officer turns his lights on. In most cases your adrenal gland will trigger a hormonal response and produce the stress or anxiety hormone during the situation for potential fear of getting a ticket or some other reprimand. In a healthy body, glands and hormones seamlessly communicate to keep the body in shape and healthy. Glands play a major role in regulating the areas of our body and if it cannot effectively receive and send messages, then hormones effect on body shape will show. Welcome To Hormone Education Hormones are the basically the chemical messengers in the body. Glands produce a message through the pituitary gland for instance. The message is sent through the bloodstream and with travel to a different region in the body and will cause some effect. Hormones are extremely beneficial and are key components in maintaining a healthy body. It is known that there are over 600 different hormones in the body the individually have unique functions in particular regions of the body. Hormones are triggered by different activities and conditions. For example, exercising creates a fat-burning effect that can hang around for 48 hours after the exercise activity. It is known as the after-burn effect. Imagine how you communicate with your peers. It’s generally by words, right? Well hormones are just like a language, except it is the language of the body. Hormones tell the body what to do and consists of millions of effects every day. Hormones tell your body to burn fat, store fat, when you’re hungry, when you’re sleepy, how fast hair and bones grow, and several other commands. • Episode #009 - Weight Loss Education - the Missing Link in Healthcare

2 FEB 2016 · Creating health is not just an unattainable slogan that naturally fit people say. It’s true, there are countless programs that claim to be the best fat burning diet out there. The problem is that it may work for a select few, but most will not benefit from it. We are not all the same and cannot expect the same results using the same program. That is why Dr. Banerjee believes in educating yourself on health eating and finding out what works best for your body type. Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee unfold tips and other strategies to use, in order to find your ideal program during this podcast. They take a serious approach and help assist you in educating yourself on healthy eating and how the right foods can spark a fat burning fuse. As a doctor who specializes on belly fat and hormones, Dr. Banerjee recounts several cases where individuals would try a program that was recommended by someone else and simply did not achieve the same results. There is a reason for that and your body knows what it is. It’s time to stop giving up and start educating yourself on healthy eating and allow yourself the opportunity to learn your true body and how it works. Diets and the Yo-Yo Effect For some, losing weight is much more difficult than it is for others. Not every diet or exercise program will give the same results to everyone who tries it. It’s kind of like how no one is the exact same as far as looks, personality, size, etc. It really is that simple. We are not the same and cannot expect the same results as anyone else. The real problem lies within an illusion that presents itself as a lack of will power. Trying a diet and if results are not seen, then they move on to the next. The issue isn’t linked to willpower it is linked to the demotivating fact that they were never taught how to effectively lose weight, and actually keep it off. Their method of approach is completely wrong. Imagine constantly failing at diet programs. At a point some will start to think there may be something wrong with them and not the diet. Knowing your body type and effectively applying gained knowledge on losing weight can be the difference between staying fat or being healthy. Make Your Hormones Work for You The biggest factor holding individuals back from losing weight and being healthy can boil down to how efficiently your hormones are working. There are six hormones in the body that burn fat and three that create it. The underlining dilemma is that in most cases, not all hormones are working optimally. Leading to the storing of fat and the inability to use it. Fat is often thought of as extra padding or insulation. Contrarily, it is actually stored energy that can be tapped into and used to power the body. Most of us use energy from the sugars and foods we consume and are not taking advantage of the stored energy. This leads to a buildup of fat. These hormones are all triggered differently and understanding how they are triggered is a key component in educating yourself on healthy eating. Certain activities such as particular exercises or specific foods can aid in the triggering process to activate these fat burning hormones. Taking advantage of this knowledge can not only help you lose weight, but it can also improve the overall quality of your life and health. Trista and Raj Banerjee do not stop there. There cover several other health tips in this podcast: - The missing link in losing weight - Common misconception on food allergies - Identifying the fat burning hormones - Developing a custom complete body health blueprint Find Out More on Health Education Dr. Banerjee puts emphasis on educating yourself on healthy eating and how it can positively benefit you while also curving bad food cravings. He takes the time to shine light on educating and curing his patients, rather than treating them. Spend 20 minutes and listen to the entire podcast as Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee go into detail on how to determine body type and trigger hormones for efficient, effortless weight loss. • Episode #008 - The Evolution of Modern Medicines Effect on Patient Death

22 JAN 2016 · Traditional methods of medical practices have been changing since its origin. The evolution of modern medicines has developed a negative perception among some of the general public. There have been a lot of changes in the medical field since the early 1900’s. What makes it so different now than back then? Everything has been constantly changing. From society to economics—we as a race are constantly developing and changing policies and practices almost daily. So, is trusting our family doctors and other medical professionals, actually improving our health and quality of life? It is for these reasons, Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee take the reins on this topic to provide insight on this delicate matter. As the evolution of modern medicines continue to change and evolve, Dr. Banerjee explains how the medical field has changed and adapted to cultural norms, and where the changes started. We’ve all heard about ancient medical practices and holistic treatments from what feels like eons ago. Instead of natural treatments and therapeutic practices, today’s culture is plagued by money-making professional drug pushers. The worst thing about it is, we’re condoning these actions and contributing to the landslide in the American medical model of healthcare. Raj Banerjee aims his flashlight at the source and sheds light on how this development started and where it’ going. Since the Beginning We All Learn A doctor is perceived as someone specializing in everything. We expect them to literally know everything about everything, but that’s hardly the case anymore. The term is translated from Latin and invokes the meaning of one who teaches. A teacher as we know it. Doctors are supposed to offer wisdom with treatment, so that their patients can make healthy choices and sustain a better quality of life without always turning to medical treatments. Conventional medicine with medical doctors has been around for roughly 100 years in comparison to Chinese medicine which has been practiced for 1000's of years. In the early 1900’s conventional medicine was big in the medical playing field. A Flexner report starts a new trend with its findings from data collected between 1915 to 1920. The Carnegie Corp. funded Abraham Flexner to gather data. He went around and conducted an inventory of all medical schools and hospitals over that five-year period that prescribed drugs. He brought his findings back to Carnegie and Rockefellers which in turn provided millions of dollars to funding the medical schools and hospitals to prescribe drugs. As time progressed prescription medicines became more and more common as doctors where finding it easier and easier to give the patient medicine instead of helping them prevent the causes. Nowadays, doctors are really only trained to handle crisis situations and illnesses. A lot of times simple symptoms that favor something else go misdiagnosed and mistreated. Trusting Health insurance to Kill You Most people only visit the hospital when they are absolutely in dire need of medical attention. That’s why we pay for health insurance right? It’s almost like a way of gambling. You’re gambling that one day you are get become extremely ill. And in most cases it’ll be your own fault. Minor aches and sicknesses are brushed off to the side with the thought of, “If it gets worse I’ll go to the doctor,” instead of fixing the issue. Look at some facts. According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, the third leading cause of death is from direct treatments from medical doctors. About 15,000 Medicare patients are killed every month by MD treatments. The health insurance you’ve been paying for is your gamble on thinking that the doctor will just cure you of whatever you have, and the insurance company will help pay the bill. Big chance that something can go wrong and you could wind up paying the ultimate price. Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee delve even deeper as they go more in-depth on these topics during the podcast: - How the medical curriculum is aimed toward producing drug pushers? - Why relying on your insurance may cost you your life? - Explains the chronological path of the evolution of modern medicines. - Alternatives to consider before going to the doctor. Want to Know More On Medical Evolution The most important thing in life today is life. We all want to live longer healthier lives, but the truth is, do we even know where to start. We put so many toxins in our bodies and have no clue on what it takes to maintain a healthy body. Think about this. You fill your regular unleaded car up with diesel fuel. While driving you feel your car driving very poorly. There’s nothing mechanically wrong with the car. You just gave it the wrong food. In most cases, the same applies for the human body. If you feed it the wrong sustenance, then you have to expect some bodily ailments. This is why Dr. Raj Banerjee conducts free webinars and promotes his patient’s success stories. There are better methods to maintaining a healthy body and you owe it to yourself to expect a better quality of life and get educated. • Episode #007 - Public Disclosure of Medical Errors Being Withheld From the Public

17 DEC 2015 · Face it, there are just some things the general population is unaware of. More importantly is education on a variety of topics in the medical field. Most things happen on scales and what affects the bottom, also affects the top. Medical mistakes are being made and the Federal government is not providing full disclosure of medical errors, in fact, most are being swept under the rug! Join Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee as they sit down to discuss what is really going on in the healthcare world and answer some questions about over prescribing drugs, pharmaceutical research, and medical mistakes that are leading to death. There are preventable hospital mistakes that are happening at an alarming rate. The truth is, most could be completely avoided if procedures and operations were followed as directed. There are several places to point a finger, but it’s the general population that is suffering the most from these mistakes. Doctors Don’t Hold All the Blame Yes, most of us visit our doctor or a hospital when we feel ill or have some other serious issue to deal with, but that could cost you—your life! The numbers from recent studies are showing a climb in the death toll due to medical mistakes and errors. For instance 1 and 25 people often obtain an infection related to a hospital related stay. Also, there are pooling numbers of drug related deaths due to adverse reactions. It turns out that a majority of the informational studies that doctors use to prescribe medicine have been flawed or tampered with, so the numbers aren’t as accurate as they should be. This is resulting in doctors prescribing medications that are not doing what it is prescribed for, resulting in mistreatment of the illness or condition. Many hospitals are not openly announcing any full disclosure of medical mistakes, and medications are being prescribed without proper knowledge of their effects. The question is not, “Who is to blame?” It’s more like, “How can we fix the American medical system and prevent unnecessary hospital related deaths?” Dr. Raj Banerjee notes that there is an estimated 440,000 hospital related deaths each year. Makes one think about whether they should go to the hospital or not! Preventable medical mistakes are actually the third leading cause of death in the US, right after heart disease and cancer, claiming the lives of 210,000 Americans each year. Should we have full disclosure of medical errors? The place many flock to in order for medical attention, is almost doing more harm than good. There is a rapidly growing amount of hospital related deaths and the numbers do not appear to be slowing down. Dr. Banerjee recommends that people should only go to the hospital if in serious dire need of medical attention, under a trauma, or in need of medical surgery. Antibiotics are not as effective anymore and resistant bacteria have evolved and there is little or nothing to combat them. Antibiotics are over-prescribed and are pumped into our food every day, accounting for 80 percent of national antibiotic consumption. There are misdiagnoses, medical mistakes, and the government his hiding the facts and not coming clean with full disclosure of medical errors. Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee also talk about other issues relating to medical mistakes and how the Federal government are minimizing the news about it: - The difference in medical care across income levels - Omission and burying of fatal medical mistakes by the Federal government - Ways to stay healthy and keep away from the hospital unless absolutely needed Find Out More on Medical Mistakes That Are Hidden Dr. Raj Banerjee speaks his mind on the current situation of the American model on health care and is disgusted by what he witnesses. There are sizable amounts of medical mistakes that are leading to deaths, and people are being misdiagnosed and mistreated for their ailments. Spend 20 minutes and listen to the entire podcast as Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee go into detail pointing out the faults in the medical system and informing the audience on how the Federal government are hiding the medical mistakes. • Episode #006 - Exploring the American Model of Health Care

12 DEC 2015 · Staying healthy is something that most of us desire and most people actually take steps towards better health. By default the teachings of conventional medicines have patients heading in a disastrous path of bad health. It’s known that the American model of health care is dealing with some issues. There are many reasons as to why this system is failing, and there are in-your-face solutions that are being ignored. Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee take a moment to discuss the American model of health care and why it’s poisoning the nation. Invest 20 minutes and listen to these two explain the mistakes being made by U.S. health systems and ways to avoid its susceptibility. Dr. Banerjee simply articulates the faults of the American model of health care by using factual data gathered by research and other studies. Conventional medicine is plaguing the nation by drowning it in a sea of prescription drugs. The Land of the Healthy… or Not The amazing growth and expansion of today’s technology can leave a person wondering, “What’s left to cure?” Turns out it’s still everything. While the technology is ever advancing, the medical field is only out for one thing, ‘MONEY’. Medicines are meant to cure ailments and by that logic the United States should be the healthiest country, just by sheer volume of prescription drug consumption. The United States makes up only 3 percent of the global population. That’s hardly anything to shrug at, but when Americans are responsible for 40 percent of the total drug consumption, that is something worth noting. By being a leading country in medicine usage, the US should be among the top healthiest and have a higher life expectancy. The truth is, the U.S. ranks in the 49th percentile for male and female mortality rates. The big question here is, “If we’re taking the medicines, then why are we so unhealthy?” Do Doctors Really Know Medicine? Ever since childhood, we go to the doctor when we feel sick. These days there is an alarming increase in medical mistakes that result in death. The American medical system is the leading cause of death and injury in the United States. Doctors are over prescribing medications that aren’t preventing the problems. The word doctor translates into "teacher", and it is a quality that has been lost. Individuals are taking several kinds of medicines and some of those may not react well with others. This mixing of prescription drugs is causing a spike in preventable drug related adverse reactions, which affects over 450,000 people and claims early 109,000 lives per year. A majority of these are due to misdiagnosis or the treatment of the wrong illness. The point is, that a side effect from one drug could be mistakenly treated as a whole new illness. This leads to overloading the body with medicines it doesn’t need. Dr. Banerjee states, “Patients receive multiple prescriptions at varying strengths, some of which counteract each other or cause more severe reactions when combined.” This is something that doctors are should be aware of and need to ask patients if they are taking any other medications. Adverse drug reactions can be prevented when proper steps are taken and you discuss your medications freely with your doctor. The kicker is that most people are seeing more than one doctor who is prescribing them with a medication. This is where the American model of health care is failing. Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee explore solutions and identify other faults with the American model of health care in this podcast: - Factual statistics on in-hospital adverse drug reactions - Why pharmaceutical companies are poisoning our bodies just to make a buck - How medical mistakes are increasing, leading to a rise in hospital deaths Find Out More on Errors with American Health Care More and more people eat day, are prescribed new medications to help with some new illness. Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee take the time to explore ways to help educate the general population on ways to stay healthy and avoid the overuse of prescription medicines. • Episode #005 - Conventional Medicine is the Leading Cause of Death

6 DEC 2015 · Health is very important to most of us, and it should be! There have been several studies supporting ideas on whether conventional medicine is the leading cause of death or not. The results are staggering and the suggestions of a drug-free America is merely an idea on a belief that is not true.   Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee, take a moment to discuss some current issues and reveal data that may have some reconsidering conventional medicine. By taking  20 minutes and plugging into the podcast, our listeners will hear about the over use of pharmaceutical drugs, ways to reduce the amount of medicines taken, and information pointing to evidence that conventional medicine is the leading cause of death.   These days so many of the population are taking prescription medicines for some illness or other condition. The problem is that the medicines being taken are merely masks that cover up symptoms temporarily to ease the patient’s worries until the medicine it wears. Dr. Banerjee highlights some interesting points when addressing the problems with the current healthcare system.   Do Hospitals Keep Us Healthy?   It has always been believed, that if someone is feeling ill or under the weather, they should consult with their doctor or maybe even visit the hospital as most of us have learned through teachings of conventional medicine.  There are risks associated with going to the doctor’s office or hospital, and without knowing the facts, visits to these types of facilities could do more harm than help.   There have been a growing amount of hospital related mistakes, resulting in more errors than ever before. Instead of increasing the well-being of patients, the American medical system is currently doing more harm than ever. Hospitals thought to be a safe haven for the sick are experiencing a large increase in medical malpractice and other health related errors.   What is Conventional Medicine Doing to Me?   With results from recent studies, one cannot help but to wonder if conventional medicine is the leading cause of death. Dr. Raj Banerjee explains that in 1999, nearly 100,000 people a year were at risk of dying due to hospital mistakes, and just ten years later those same numbers climbed to 180,000 people a year were at risk. Today that same number has more than likely rose up to if not surpassed 440,000 patients at risk of dying from medical mistakes.   Hospitals have always been notorious for being a breeding ground of infections and other contagious illnesses. It’s been noted that every day 1 in 25 patients suffer from at least one type of infection that can be associated or linked to their stay at a hospital. With nearly 2 million individuals catching an infection in a hospital a year, this results in 90,000 deaths per year in relation.    Are Pharmecuetical Companies in it For the Health?   Contrary to popular belief, the American convention medical system has turned the United States into a drug dependent nation leading to nearly 70 percent of the population is taking at least one prescription drug, whether it be antibiotics, anti-depressants, opiods or others. To top it off, 1 in every 5 people are taking a psychotropic drug for a psychological disorder, and those numbers are rising.   Truth is that out of the medicines prescribed, only 11-16 percent actually provides a therapeutic gain. Everything else is just masking and slowing illnesses down.  People of all ages are falling victim to drug dependency.   Twenty five percent of seniors are ingesting 10-19 pills a day by recommended prescriptions and those numbers are even higher when considering medicines they take for angina, arthritis, congestive heart problems, GERD, and others. It’s truly impressive at how dependent on pharmaceutical drugs the nation has become.   Just this past year the FDA started allowing doctors to prescribe Oxycontin, a narcotic, to children 11 years of age or older. This information is staggering especially when our children are already being over treated with vaccines and other drugs, not to mention they are the leading demographic growth in the drug industry.   Dr. Banerjee and Trista Polo dig in even deeper and delve into other topics during this podcast: - Truth in the helpfulness of pharmaceutical drugs on health - Treating illnesses versus curing them - Financial data and projections of the Drugs industry - Ways to reduce drug dependency and decrease medicines taken - Understand why conventional medicine is the leading cause of death    Find Out More On the Risks of Conventional Medicine Trista Polo and Raj Banerjee explain several issues within the conventional medical system, including risks for the patients, malpractice and hospital errors, and the financial growth of pharmaceutical companies. Spend 20 minutes and listen to the entire podcast as they go into detail pointing out the faults in the medical system and informing the audience of ways to reduce associated risks. • Episode #004 - Get Control and Reverse Chronic Pain and Depression

27 NOV 2015 · The health of your mind and body is very important! A healthy mind and body provides you with the necessary tools to combat chronic pain and depression. Starting with a fresh and fine fettled mind is a key component to beat depression and form healthy habits that can improve the overall health of mind and body. Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee, join one another to discuss how certain techniques and practices can improve the mind and body, and help reduce or eliminate chronic pain and depression. These two will delve right in and discuss healthy habits, exercises, and other practices that can lift depression and overturn chronic pain. What’s the first thing that pops into someone’s mind when they hear mind and body? A simple Yoga or type of meditation is usually the first choices. While these do help, there are other practices that offer very similar results. Conditioning the Mind and Body Dr. Raj Banerjee takes a moment to converse about a few different techniques to help boost and promote a healthy mind and body. Raj Banerjee talks about certain exercises like walking that not only benefits the body’s health but also is a great way to clear the minds and maintain focus. By developing a healthy habit of yoga, meditation, or exercise can help fix chronic pain and depression. Dr. Banerjee goes on to explain that pain is a feeling that stems from the brain. For example a stubbed toe or accidentally hitting a finger when using a hammer. The pain is a perceptive connect that comes with emotions, labels, and can empower or motivate for things to be done differently—such as remembering to watch your fingers when hammering so that you do not experience the pain that has been learned. Get in Touch with Your Hormones Endorphins are an insanely powerful hormone that your body produces naturally in response to particular stimuli. These special hormones possess the responsibility to administer a ‘feel-good’ response to relax and slow the heart rate down. The released endorphins can also reduce stress, alleviate pain, and ease respiration, and lower elevated blood pressure levels. Finding a mindfulness training program will be a little tough, as not all systems work the same for everyone. Finding one that works will help improve your mental space and cognitive well-being. Trista Polo and Raj Banerjee cover several topics that help improve the wellness and health of the mind and body: - Gain insightful knowledge on habitual techniques that are prove to promote health - Great informational strategies that can improve meditation focus - How to develop a routine to defeat chronic pain and depression Mix it Up to Pep You Up Raj Banerjee ends by discussing how beneficial it is to mix up certain techniques to get you focused and from falling victim to boredom and also introduce a form of yoga known as Nidra. Spend 20 minutes and listen to the entire podcast as Dr. Raj Banerjee goes in depth on the techniques and strategies that can promote a healthy mind and body, while helping to decrease chronic pain and depression. • Episode #003 - Treatment of Inflammation: What You Don’t Know and What You Should

19 NOV 2015 · Inflammation is a word many of us are familiar with, but don’t really understand. Even though inflammation in some parts of the body can become very painful, there are other areas where inflammation that occur that can negatively affect your health and well-being in a more serious manner, without you even recognizing that it is happening. Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee take a moment to give insight on what inflammation is, what causes it, and how you our listeners can help prevent inflammation and avoid chronic illnesses. Additionally, they also discuss foods that offer powerful antioxidants that can help reduce inflammation by providing essential amino building blocks. Dr. Banerjee has been practicing medicine since 2000 and has seen over 7,000 patients during his career. Raj Banerjee uses a blended concentration of both Eastern and Western medical techniques, to provide his patients with a holistic alternative to conventional treatment of inflammation, diabetes, cardiovascular illnesses, and other chronic diseases and conditions. Everyday Inflammation Build Up Dr. Banerjee starts off by describing inflammation and the sources that produce it. He simply begins by stating that the second law of thermodynamics says everything dissolves and decays. It’s the reason why mountains turn to dust and why iron turns to rust. It’s natural and is bound to occur, and the same goes for inflammation. Life is what causes inflammation. Daily activities result in the formation and buildup of inflammation. We do not recognize or barely feel this change happening. This is due to a master detoxifier, known as Glutathione. Chronic inflammation occurs when our bodies are overloaded with toxins to the point where our naturally produced glutathione cannot perform treatment on inflammation as it arises. This results in a collection of inflammation hormones causing noticeable symptoms. Glutathione the Master Detoxifier Glutathione is the most important molecule that you want to stay healthy, so it can combat and prevent disease. Glutathione is the mother of anti-oxidants and is your body’s way of providing treatment on inflammation and other toxin related illnesses. It is the secret molecule that helps prevent aging, cancer, heart disease, and more. The human body produces glutathione naturally and having a poor diet ultimately results in the depletion of glutathione levels. This starts to overload the liver and prevents it from processing substances efficiently, leading to the inability to detoxify the body. Finding what type of treatment on inflammation techniques that work can be tough. Knowing that the glutathione molecule acts like a flypaper for toxins in your body, picture this. If your flypaper fills up with too many flies, then it can no longer do its job. This is why it is important for you to take 20 minutes to listen to the podcast and learn about holistic treatment on inflammation, to keep your flypaper clean and functioning. Conventional Treatment Verses Natural Methods While there are several different types of practices and techniques to use for treatment of inflammation, most are only acting as a cover-up, masking the real problem. Conventional treatments tend to offer help in the form of medications. These medications are just providing a blanket and are usually coupled with other medications to fight side effect of the first. It’s an endless loop. This over-prescribing was part of Dr. Raj Banerjee’s motivation to provide change and treatments that actually fix the problem and not mask it. His inspiration stems from his mother. She constantly battled thyroid issues, diabetes, low energy, and would struggle to lose weight and fight off constant infections. The physicians she visited only prescribed out more and more drugs, never getting to the root of the problem. Raj Banerjee shares a moment when his mother received a phone call from his uncle. The uncle’s call was made to inform Dr. Banerjee’s mother of her sister’s death. She was found on the floor after having a diabetic stroke. It is for these reasons that Dr. Banerjee decided to focus on combining Eastern and Western medical techniques to provide natural and holistic treatment of inflammation and other chronic diseases and illnesses. During the podcast, Trista Polo and Dr. Raj Banerjee discuss these other informational topics: - How an effective diet can reduce inflammation - Foods that’s provide healthy anti-oxidants for your body - Origin of toxins found in the human body through evolution Control Inflammation and Flush Toxins Naturally To get more information on inflammation and how a poor diet can cause multiple health concerns, spend 20 minutes and listen to the entire podcast as Dr. Raj Banerjee goes into more detail on the super molecule glutathione and how it helps prevent inflammation.
