She is a social change activist and influential leader in mental health equity and reform. Diana and her clinical expertise have been featured in a number of publications such as: Bustle, Hello Giggles, Vice, Vox, PBS, The BBC, NASW, Social Work Advocacy, Yahoo, and The Atlantic Journal. Diana currently serves on the Boards for Con Mi Madre, Amala Foundation and the Clinical Social Work Association. He has taught courses at Caribbean Diaspora courses at UPenn and has spearheaded Afro-Latinidad-focused studies abroad for high school New Yorkers. Growing up Afro-Latino, society often viewed Daniel through a binary lens; Latinx or African American. But coming from both descendants, Daniel felt it was his duty to learn more about the history of his people, but soon realized how inaccessible that information was. Marisa was a former classroom educator before venturing into entrepreneurship. She is also the Co-Founder & CFO of Dándole Tech, a non-profit organization that provides technology & education for Latinx students across the city of Chicago. Dándole Tech sought to close the digital divide among Chicago’s most at-risk youth, which was made more apparent when schools across the nation turned to remote learning in March 2020 as a response to pandemic lockdowns. With this mission in mind, and Marisa’s 12 years as an integrated curriculum educator for grades Pre-K through high school, she and her co-founder serve not only as an advocate for students' needs but also for families who have been affected by Covid-19.
