24 DEC 2022 · The West Catholic Girls Basketball team is off to a 7-0 start of the 2022-2023 season, fresh off a 61-54 win over Division 1 powerhouse Rockford in the Cornerstone University Holiday Basketball Tournament. The championship game was played on Thursday, Dec. 22. West Catholic head coach Jill VanderEnde was a guest on the Sports Project Radio Show on Saturday, Dec. 24. The host is Emma C, a senior who will be the social media leader for the boys basketball season this winter. She also was the student section cheer captain of the 2022 football team.
