    16 SEP 2019 · Bob Crane biographer Carol Ford participated in the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention in Hunt Valley, MD (September 12-14, 2019). While there, Carol sold and signed copies of Bob Crane: The Definitive Biography and talked with convention attendees about Bob Crane, Hogan's Heroes, and their thoughts on the book. Several attendees agreed to have their testimonials recorded for this podcast and are contained in this episode. The Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention is a 501 non-profit organization designed to encourage and preserve our pop culture past and holds a charity auction each year to raise money for St. Jude's Children’s Research Hospital. As part of their research for 'Bob Crane: The Definitive Biography,' Carol and Linda talked with three people directly affiliated with 'Celebrity Cooks': owner Derek Smith, talent agent Anne Kear, and stage manager Roger Packer. All three were present on the day of taping, and all three had a much different story to tell about that day than what has previously been told. Audio clips of Derek Smith, Anne Kear, and Roger Packer were told directly to Carol Ford and Linda Groundwater, and are owned by the authors of 'Bob Crane: The Definitive Biography.'
