Élan aims to create a sustainable and inclusive forum of young citizens.
Launched by EuropaNova and the Candid foundation, Élan began with a series of eight Franco-German web-debates and eight podcasts on the challenges facing Europe. Throughout these debates, participants will be invited to share their most daring and relevant ideas.
At the end of the first round of Élan, a jury awarded ten prizes for the ten best ideas.
The second season of Elan is planned under the motto Europe from the “outside”
This time we talk - in english - about “outside” views on european culture and cultural politics. Therefore we invite interesting speakers from different regions of the world.

This view from the outside will not only allow us to better understand European and to strengthen a shared European consciousness - most importantly we will share creative and critical new inputs, to build bridges.
