Life Of A Strip Club DJ Episode 9

25 JUN 2018 · Pericles famously said, "Just because you don't take an interest in politics doesn't mean that politics won't take an interest in you." That's what this episode is all about. Big D is back and he's pissed off beyond belief. Several female legislators in the Michigan House want to restrict strip clubs and license dancers and club managers. Big D goes over the history of past legislation, what the current bills being proposed really do, and how you can fight this. WARNING: This episode contains explicit language that may offend some listeners, but listeners should really be offended at the actions of the people we hire to run government for us.

Life Of A Strip Club DJ - Episode 8

14 MAR 2018 · If you asked Joe Hess, "What's up?", his response would normally be, "Dicks and airplanes." On this very special episode, we look back at the life of former Parkway Tropics manager Joe Hess, aka Hot Tub Joe, who passed away on March 7, 2018 after suffering a massive heart attack at age 64. Big D shares stories about his friend Joe and some of the things that happened in that hot tub, including the bed that needed WD-40, the hand lotion contest, and the party that happened when Joe wasn't home. Life Of A Strip Club DJ - Episode 5 TAKE 2

18 SEP 2017 · I didn't like how the original episode 5 was organized (meaning it wasn't) so I cut a second take of this episode. This episode looks at how exotic dancers are classified by clubs. Should they be independent contractors? Or should they be employees? Big D examines industry lawsuits over this issues, some of the potential positives and negatives of each classification, and how the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hours Division determines how a worker is classified. This is a must listen for club owners, club managers, and house dancers.
