  • What can one simple question bring into your life?

13 JAN 2020 · Episode Notes Access all of the Curious Connections podcast episodes at http://www.patreon.com/swinchester This conversation is about recounting how a friendship with someone I never knew, started with a simple email asking, "So what does an exhibit designer do?" Larry Warner and I first met through that email in the late 90's and it developed into a friendship that has lasted to this day. We discuss how this connection impacted our lives and that even though our communication dropped for a time, we are still able to connect as good friends. Larry Warner is the Director for the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island. His career in museums and aquariums spans 32 years, and he served as Exhibits Curator at the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island for more than six years. Most recently, he acted as the Director of Exhibits for Connecticut’s Mystic Aquarium, overseeing the development of numerous conservation-based exhibits. That question is, “What don’t I know?” This one question creates the opportunity to explore a new connection with curiosity. There is no telling what you will learn. Every two weeks, I will be sitting down with the interesting and unique people I’ve met to learn more about them and their ideas about connection.
