30 AUG 2022 · Season 2 of Clear The Air with Mina Denny has arrived. In this reboot episode, Mina is joined by former Indiana basketball shooting guard, Maurice (Mo) Creek. Mo played for the Hoosiers in 2009-2013 under Tom Crean before transferring to George Washington University for his final year of eligibility. Mina and Mo discuss the series of injuries he endured while at IU, his take on the '22-'23 Indiana roster under head coach Mike Woodson, but more importantly, his escape from Ukraine amid Russia's invasion in late February. Stay tuned to hear how Mo almost got stuck in the center of a war, and his incredible journey to safety.

7 FEB 2022 · Join Mina Denny for the first episode of Clear The Air's new mini-series airing this month only: Black History Matters. In light of it being Black History Month, HN has collaborated with IUSTV on this month-long project to spotlight Black athletes, coaches, and professors around the Bloomington community. Gary "Doc" Sailes -- author, speaker, and retired associate professor -- joins us for the first episode. Growing up overseas as a military brat, Doc was immersed in much cultural diversity and people of every demographic. He also grew up with a passion for sport, prompting him to consider how race and sport work in conjunction with one another. Whether Doc is teaching a sport and social justice class, giving Black athletes a platform to speak, or writing a book about the Black athlete experience, he has and is creating a safe space for open conversation about these controversies.

13 DEC 2021 · The ninth episode of Clear The Air welcomes a very, very special guest. Hoosier Network's own, Eden Snower! Eden is a gifted photographer and videographer, but when she doesn't have a camera in her hand, you'll find her at the gym practicing her bar or tumbling routines. Eden has some amazing insight and stories to share about growing up as a competitive gymnast, and all the horrors that came with it. Today, Mina and Eden will consider how there's certain things in gymnastics that people don't necessarily always see, or that have been hidden from the public eye. We touched on emotional/verbal abuse from coaches, the significance of quitting, and even how Eden could've almost ended up in the care of Larry Nassar.

14 NOV 2021 · The eighth edition of Clear The Air is a special one. Mina Denny is joined by her colleague, Kate Matthews, to interview IU women's soccer defender, Hanna Németh. On the outside, Hanna is an intelligent, driven, and obviously talented athlete. But today, we dug a little deeper into who Hanna Németh is, and how her Hungarian upbringing affected the kind of person and player we know and love today.

7 NOV 2021 · The seventh episode of Clear The Air featuring sports journalist, David Gardner, addresses a common issue amongst professional athletes; being treated ONLY as an athlete, not as a human being. Mina Denny and Gardner discuss how sport can be a prism for viewing life, and how there's much more to an athlete beyond the confines of a football field or a basketball court.

24 OCT 2021 · The sixth edition of Clear The Air welcomes IU alumna and Sports Illustrated reporter, Priya Desai. Mina and Priya take a seat to discuss differences between PWI's & HBCU's, racial inequality in regards to sports, and how Priya was able to unionize her own newsroom.

10 OCT 2021 · On the fifth episode of Clear The Air, Mina Denny takes a seat with her former professor, Xan Smith, to discuss the similarities and differences seen between conventional sports and esports. Tune in to hear about misogyny in video games, the toxic culture of esports, how we can make these virtual spaces more inclusive and more!

27 SEP 2021 · In the fourth episode of Clear The Air, Mina Denny and Hannah Garvey sit down to consider the role sports play in developing who and what an American is.

13 SEP 2021 · The third episode of "Clear The Air" brings in two special guests, Dylan Harris and Ryan O'Callaghan. Mina Denny takes a seat with the former athletes to discuss how the LGBTQ+ community is represented and exposed in sports media, along with the hardships athletes within this community face on a day-to-day basis.

30 AUG 2021 · The second edition of "Clear The Air" welcomes Jesse Steinfeldt. In this episode, Jesse and Mina Denny will consider the role that toxic masculinity plays within sports and how this social construct impacts male athletes as they grow up.
