20 AUG 2017 · My lover and best friend of over five years, died at the cruel age of Thirty one. We separated for nearly two years prior, primarily because I stopped using drugs and alcohol as a means of coping with existence and he did not. That was March of 2015. He died as a result of his addiction and illnesses related to it on February the twenty fourth of 2017. I did not handle it well, I could not cope, I did not know how to grieve at all. Sometimes it feels that I barely am able to handle the sideways glance So- I put myself in intensive outpatient therapy very shortly after that, this is one of my first sessions with guitarist and musical therapist, Karly K; At the West Midtown location of- A. C. I, here in N.Y.C. (my expatriate home).
