We examined a three pillar plan for achieving mental wellness, and wished Coco Gauff mental stability as she headed into the US Open as an African American Teen. Spoiler Alert: She did the damn thing the following day becoming the 4th American Female Teen to win a major, 3rd at the US Open, and 1st since Serena Williams did it in the early 2000’s. Congratulations CoCo! We’re extremely proud of you! Afterthought, we compared Coco to Sha’Carri Richardson who overcame adversity to win the 100m dash at the World Championships in Budapest.
