19 JUL 2023 · In this episode, Braxton sits with Aleki Manu to discuss how he engages his children in learning about life, sex, and relationships. He talks about how he engages with his wife and the principles of how he lives his life.  I've received feedback that people like the logical approach to sexual education and relationships, and people want to know what it looks like in REAL LIFE. They want to know the "How do others approach this?" This is one way to peer into how others approach these topics. This book is highly recommended especially to those who have experiences with fundamentalist religions. Cami and Braxton share some of the highlights of this text as well as some of their own personal experiences.

9 MAR 2022 · Braxton and Cami Hurst are reviewing Robie H. Harris's series entitled It's Perfectly Normal: Changing Bodies, Growing Up, Sex, and Sexual Health. This book is a detailed, age-appropriate, empirically-based guide to bodies and sexual health for children. Tune in to hear Cami and Braxton's thoughts, questions, and critiques for this series and a few other children's resource books.

4 FEB 2021 · Today in this Birds and Bees Collaboration with Sex Therapy 101 is covering Better Sex Through Mindfulness by Lori Brotto  This is the perfect supplement to the last episode about Come as You Are by Emily Nagoski.   Braxton and Cami discuss what supports come from the book. They give their insights as sex therapists and how they encourage their clients to implement these practices. They explore what mindful practices are supportive and simple methods of implementing them.  They give the book a rating and let listeners know what book this pairs well with.

17 JUN 2020 · We are having the pornography talk today, I know, it can be a scary topic and we're going to take it head-on to give you the tools to feel confident in having these conversations.    What do I say? How do I bring it up? If I talk about it will that MAKE them look for porn?? What if they don't want me talking about it at all?!   Cath Hakanson is a sex educator, sexual health blogger (Sex Ed Rescue) and nurse in Australia. Cath is with me today to answer all of these questions and to give you tools to start the conversation no matter the age of your child.  Your children will be exposed to pornography, it's not a question of "if," but "when." The goal of this episode is to help you start these conversations, calm some of your concerns, encourage you to start these talks (Yes, TALKS) about pornography with your kids. You can do this!! 11 MAR 2020 · What lengths do you go to meet expectations? For most men, sexual performance is one where, no pun intended, men go to great lengths for an extra inch or two. Men also compare themselves with others in regards to sexual stamina, girth and so on. Some even get alterations that are dangerous and ineffective in the long run. Today we are talking today about PE, Penis diseases, delayed ejaculation the P Shot and penis elongation.  These topics are topics people don’t typically like talking about. We are addressing them with a board-certified urologist because it really is at the heart of what many men are concerned about. We are taking these difficult topics head on because some men take desperate actions to change their sexual experience which long term causes harm.   Dr Brandeis is the Director of Clinical Excellence for GAINSWave. He has served as the Chief of Urology at John Muir Hospital for the past 8 years. As Chief of Urology he helped to start the Surgical Robotics Program at the Concord Campus in 2002.
