18 MAR 2022 · A beautiful, educational & seriously emotional journey on the bus this week. Helen Simms is one of the most passionate teachers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She invited me in to her school to work with selected classes of children & because of her love & engagement for what she does, it was one of the best experiences in a school I've ever had. We talk a lot about what makes a good teacher (some great advice for NQT's) and how the education system needs have a facelift or morph itself to find better outcomes for students & teachers. It's a pleasure talking to someone who absolubtly belongs join the position they're in!
