Today we talk about how to gain more self-awareness and some of the things that get in the way. Join our conversation by letting us know your thoughts! We appreciate every comment, review and rating! • Is it Me?

13 FEB 2023 · Is it Me? Have you ever asked yourself, "is it me?" when you're having a difficult time with a student or behavior management in the classroom? Self-awareness is critical to our ability to make the kinds of changes we're always talking about. Today we talk about the very real struggle of managing your own shame response while managing a classroom. Does shame ever override your social skills as an adult? It takes an intentional effort to respond in a way other than what is natural. We talk about junk behavior, like eye-rolling, and how to pivot when necessary. You'll be able to tell that we were recording virtually from our home offices during the winter weather. We'll be back in the studio with the GOOD SOUND next episode!
