For the first time ever, the University of Queensland Debating Society partnered with the UQ Faculty of Science to bring you a public debate like no other. Organised by UQ students, for UQ students, this debate shed light on the state of artificial intelligence, and whether we should go any further.
An audience of over 200 people watched a team of world-leading academics face-off against three UQDS expert debaters, to try and convince the audience whether or not "we should cease all research into artificial intelligence".
