Do you choose to join the crucifixion, or do you decide to join the resurrection? That is the question Jesus posed directly to us today and every day. Which one do you choose to join? And then the next question is, do you decide to stay in imprisonment, or do you prefer to ascend to your father? These two are the same question, and the answer is the same: choose to believe in the resurrection because the resurrection has been accomplished and completed in you. The resurrection was not accomplished out there 2000 years ago on the cross. The resurrection lives in me. If I choose to exercise it and live it, what excuse do I have if it is already living in me? Forgiveness is the only thing that has the power to overcome the world. That's what Jesus came to demonstrate. This is to rise above this world of conflict. This is to rise above the world of attack. 12 OCT 2022 · Living Church Ministries, led by Senior Pastor David Hoffmeister, initiated ten new ministers. In addition, Erik Archbold, Emily Alexander, and Monica provided live music for the event. It was a very emotional and joyous event, with many tears and a lot of laughter. To start with, David read this section from A Course in Miracles: "You are among the ministers of God. Let us today be neither arrogant nor falsely humble. We have gone beyond such foolishness. We cannot judge ourselves, nor need we to do so. These are attempts to hold decisions off and delay commitment to our function. It is not our part to judge our worth, nor can we know what role is best for us; what we can do within a more extensive plan we cannot see in its entirety. Our part is cast in Heaven, not in hell. And what we think is a weakness can be a strength; what we believe to be our strength is often arrogance. Whatever your appointed role may be, it was selected by the Voice for God, Whose function is to speak for you as well—seeing your strengths exactly as they are and equally aware of where they can be best applied, for what, to whom, and when He chooses and accepts your part for you. Of course, he does not work without your consent. But He is not deceived in what you are and listens only to His Voice in you. Through His ability to hear one Voice, His Own, you become aware at last; there is one Voice in you. And that one Voice appoints your function and relays it to you, giving you the strength to understand it, do what it entails, and succeed in everything you do related to it. God has joined His Son in this, and thus His Son becomes His messenger of unity with Him."
