17 JAN 2019 · I wrote this song A long time ago when an ex-girlfriend of mine tried to commit suicide when I told her I was leaving her. I took the scenario and tried to turn it into a modern-day Romeo and Juliet scenario. But I never would have written this song had that unfortunate event not occurred in my life. I guess I was just trying to make something positive come out of a very bad situation.
