Musical artist and son of the late Detroit Pistons and Guardian Industries owner Bill Davidson, Ethan Davidson, opens up about music not working out the way he wanted it to, what he thinks his father would say about the Pistons' move downtown and all of the things his father and their foundation, William Davidson Foundation, quietly did (and do) for the city of Detroit. 21 AUG 2017 · In the third episode of "A Drink With - Detroit," Hillary Sawchuk sits down with Dan Varner. Dan Varner, the CEO of Goodwill Detroit, has a mission to make Detroit a great place to be a kid and raise a family. We talked with Dan to hear how Goodwill — the original social enterprise — can be the bridge between the revitalization downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods and communities. Also, we hear one of the best answers to date on what makes a great leader. Dan admits Detroit has broken some hearts but shares how the people of the city pick themselves up again and keep moving forward.
