4 AUG 2023 · - Every child is born in Fitrah, in Islam. It's the parents that alter this, living a lifestyle that leads the children to become Christians, Jews or idol-worshippers. (Hadeeth). - Parenthood is an amanah, a responsibility. We are responsible for keeping our children on the Straight Path. - Guide us on the Straight Path. (Qur'an 1:6). - A daily prayer we make, seeking help to constantly be on the right path and to guide our family on this path too. - Save yourselves and your family from the fire. (Hadeeth). - How can a parent not want to see their children safe? But the love they have causes them to act in a manner detrimental to their children's spiritual development. Showering them with love is not wrong, but fulfilling every whim and fancy of kids, spending lavishly on their needs and spoiling them with our wealth is not love. It is destroying their Spiritual journey and making them impatient, demanding and ungrateful kids who treat their parents as ATM machines. They are quick to fall into depression when they don't get what they want immediately. - A sign of Qiyamah, is that parents are servants to the children. And that is the reality around us today. - In Ottoman times, a newborn was deprived of milk for three azans after birth. Only after the third Azan will they be breastfed, and this builds in the newborn stronger lungs (from the crying) and a training to wait & be patient in their lives. - Do all that is necessary to bring up children with faith, love for Allahﷻ & His Rasulﷺ, and following the commandments of Islam and Sunnah of the Holy Prophetﷺ. - Our children can be our ticket to a high place in Jannah, and they are also the cause of us falling into Jahannam. So set an example at home, and impart all that you learn to them, so that they walk with you, to Jannah.

28 JUL 2023 · - All the bad characteristics in a human being, can be pictured to be fishes, living in a pond. And the water in that pond, giving life to these fishes, is the attribute of Anger. - So Anger is the mother of all bad deeds. One who can control anger, is able to control all the other bad sifat. Hence the Prophet said, the strongest one amongst you, is the one who can control his Anger. - Tariqah trains mureeds to empty this pond of the attribute of Anger (by the practice of Solat Najat). Once there is no more water (Anger) in this pond, all the fish (bad attributes), will die and disappear from your behaviour. - All the good characteristics in a human being, can be pictured to be fishes, living in a pond. And the water in that pond, keeping all these fishes alive, is the attribute of Sincerity (Ikhlas). - Hence, if our actions are not sincere, all the good deeds we do are rejected. Just like a pond with no water, all the fish will die. - Tariqah trains mureeds to be sincere. - Sincerity is a secret of Allahﷻ, it is from His Treasures. - So ask from Him, to be granted Sincerity in all our deeds. - Most believers forget to ask for faith and sincerity, in their doas.

21 JUL 2023 · - The Naqshbandi Aliyyah Tariqah has its roots in the actual migration that Rasulullahﷺ took. - On that journey, heﷺ chose his bosom friend to be his Companion, and stopped in the Cave of Thawr, where the first Khatam Khwajagan was done in a gathering of all the Souls of the Saints of the Golden Chain, the 7007 Naqshbandi Saints and all attendees through the times, of the Gathering of the Masters. And indeed, the Naqshbandi Tariqah is the only one with Sayyidina Abu Baqr Siddiq in its Golden Chain. The other 40 Ways coming via Sayyidina Ali. - 14th Muharram is the birthday of Shah Naqshband, and on that day, all mureeds of the Way receive blessings from this great Saint, who single handedly will fill four Jannahs by his intercession. - The 10th of Muharram, the Day of Asyura, is the day of victory of Prophets over their enemies, the triumph of good over evil, after a long period of trial. - Do as many of the special deeds of that day to attain the multitude of blessings Allahﷻ will be raining upon us on Asyura. May Allahﷻ grant us victory over shaitan and our ego, and may Allahﷻ send the Owner of the Time, soon.
