One of the most important things God wants you to know about Himself is that HE IS FAITHFUL. Whenever He makes a promise He keeps it.
The promises God has made to you he will keep. Whenever you're feeling lonely, forgotten and need a reminder of God's love and faithfulness remember to Trust in God, Who Promises to Be Faithful to You.
Today, let's look it seven reasons why it's better to trust the Lord then put your confidence in men.
1. God Does Not Change but Man Does.
For I am the Lord, I do not change;
Malachi 3:6
Jesus Christ is always the same, yesterday, today, and forever.
Hebrews 13:8
2. God Does Not Lie
“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
Numbers 23:19
So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.”
Hebrews 6:18
3. God Does Not Fail
So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void, without producing any effect, but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11
Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. Romans 4:20-21
4. God is Faithful
God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
I Corinthians 1:9
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the Faithful God keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. Deuteronomy 7:9
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3
If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.”
2 Timothy 2:13
If we are faithless, do not believe and are untrue to Him, He remains true faithful to His Word and His righteous character for He cannot deny Himself. 2 Timothy 2:13
5. God Finishes What He Starts
By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Genesis 2:2
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Philippians 1:6
When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. John 19:30
He Who Began a Good Work in You Will Be Faithful to Completed It.
6. God Never Forgets His Promise to You
Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
Isaiah 49:15-16
It is the same with His word. He sends it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all He wants it to, and it will prosper everywhere He send it. Isaiah 55:11
He remembers his covenant forever, the promise he made, for a thousand generations, the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac. Psalms 105:8-9
7. God Will Not Abandon You
For God Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. I will not, I will not, I will not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let you down, relax My hold on you! Assuredly not! Hebrews 13:5
Even if your father and mother abandon you, the Lord will hold you close. Psalms 27:10
So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic. For the Lord your God personally goes ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you. Deuteronomy 31:6
“Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.””
Deuteronomy 31:8
No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.
