Early to mid 19th century is an interesting time, a period of transition between the ancient and modern worlds. Some archaic practices - public autopsies in pubs - clash with modern science - the ability to detect poisons in a body.

I definitely find them easier to do because although it's still awful for those involved the distance helps

Thanks Corinna that was a good one. I think I like the 19th century murderers the best, they are juicier somehow.
