When we say that we are the church and want to represent Jesus, what should that look like today? In order to be authentic as a church we need to see the model that Jesus left for us. We can't say we are the church and then act contrary to the way we see Jesus model the church. We are not perfect but we do have a perfect model to help us. Once we understand the heart of Christ, are we willing to stand up and be the church?
