Why is my team underperforming and what can I do about it?

This week we are talking to Anne Sugar about what characterizes underperforming teams and what can you if you find yourself leading or operating within a team that isn’t up to scratch.

With all the material out there today about high-performing teams it seems like we have left out the reality that not all teams are high performing.

Whilst there may be tonnes of material available that gives us insights into how to maintain or optimise team-based performance, what do we do when the team that we are on are barely performing?

First off, it can be a hard pill to swallow, especially for those of us who pride ourselves on outcomes and delivery, rarely in the business world do we see people acknowledging that their team is consistently underperforming.
In today’s conversation, we attempt to break the stigma, underperformance can be addressed skilfully and without the need to be ashamed of it. Sometimes things just aren’t working or where they need to be, the real question is what we are willing to do about it.
