As promised, in this second episode with Oliver Luke, we spoke about why Oliver has chosen to be single for 12 years now, as he knows he is not ready for a relationship. He posed the question of whether or not we wanted to be in relationships, or was society pushing that “norm” onto us, and have we adopted or because that is what we’re supposed to want?
Bri and Symphony share their views about how often they need to speak to their boyfriends, and if it is okay for one’s significant other to go the entire day without speaking to them. While Bri needs to communicate with her boyfriend daily, and vice versa, Symphony has become okay with not speaking to her boyfriend daily, especially when he is busy with work.
Zina debunks the “don’t seek advice from your single friends myth” as she helps the ladies realize that either is acceptable, and we all have different needs in a relationship, and it simply depends on who the person is, and what works for their relationship. She also spoke about the importance of not being afraid to walk away from
relationships that aren’t serving you, and to simply focus on yourself.
