Calmia “Mia” Hart, is a former teen mom and currently serves as MYM’s Mentor Coordinator. Becoming a mother her senior year of high school, Mia recognizes the significance of having a support system to pursue and accomplish your educational pursuits and professional goals. She holds an Associate of Science degree and has 15+ years of experience working with adult learners from various levels: literacy and basic skills, high school equivalency prep, professional development/non-credit programs, and customized corporate training. Mia is the manager of an adult education program at a non-profit organization in Trenton, New Jersey as well as a small business owner (Keep It Cordial Mobile Mixology Services, LLC). Mia’s career and volunteer efforts are extremely fulfilling to her as she strives to equip those she works with the tools and resources necessary to reach their goals.
