Menchito is the nickname of Rubén Oseguera González, a prominent figure in the world of organized crime in Mexico. He is the son of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, also known as "El Mencho," the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), one of Mexico's most powerful and dangerous drug trafficking organizations.Menchito became a high-ranking member of the CJNG and was involved in various criminal activities, including drug trafficking, money laundering, and violence.
He was arrested in June 2015 on charges related to organized crime and the possession of illegal weapons. After his arrest, he faced legal proceedings and was held in detention.Menchito's arrest was seen as a significant blow to the CJNG, but the organization remains active and a major player in Mexico's drug trade.
