Can you lose your salvation? Baptists (and others) believe that all genuine Christians will persevere in faith. The Baptist Faith and Message says "All true believers endure to the end. Those whom God has accepted in Christ, and sanctified by His Spirit, will never fall away from the state of grace, but shall persevere to the end." Why do we believe this? What do the Scriptures say about eternal security of believers.
