Sound doctrine is simply what the biblical writer is saying (old and new testament) and that's it. To know sound doctrine one must study the biblical text based on what the writer is saying and not making the text speak messages that are not relevent to the entire text. An itching ear is an ear wanting to hear messages that make the listener feel good. Theses messages are not blically sound and usually point to man, money, name and fame. In other words the scritures are not saying what is being preached or taught although scriptures are being used. We have two examples today. Tune in live or on demand.
