My parents lived on the Island for 3 years. I worked there for 2 summers and was involved with IVCF (Inter Varsity, Christian Fellowship) which had a project there at that time. I met my husband through IVF there and we have been married now for 47+ years. Love the podcast!

I'm so glad to have found this podcast! I appreciate your honest insight and I look forward to learning more about one of the most beautiful gems in the Mitten State! I'm an elementary teacher downstate and for many years I guided my students on a three day trip to northern MI, including a day on the Island. I can't wait to hear more about your school!

Loved the first podcast. Just a wonderful extension of news and views. Reminds me of the old days on WJR when they spoke of Michigan and automive history. Looking forward to listening to many more. Congrats on a great start!!!

great job! Funny how you said "them park" lol true! Yep was not easy to live there! but was blessed to for a time! and worked at Doud's too, will always have fond memories of Steve Doud!
